In this list the pros and cons of each legend will be discussed, and based on game practice and analytics, they will be ranked in order from best to worst. We will update this list as new legends are added or changes are made to the game!

The great thing about Apex Legends is that, in general, most of the characters are fairly even, and what they lack in one area they make up for in strength in another. There are a few Legends that stand out in our opinion, and there are others that are a little underwhelming at the moment, but in the right hands all are at least viable.

Some characters are better suited to certain playstyles. If you like to run and shoot, then Bangalore with her ability to light up and her speed while under fire is very good. The pathfinder also falls into this category with its versatility of movement and is generally not rightfully underestimated. While the robot's passive is rather weak, the tactical grappling hook, properly mastered, can dominate the entry into battle. If you like support then Lifeline is a great choice and each of her abilities is useful, and if you want a more voluminous option then Gibraltar is the obvious choice.

Tactical Skill -D.O.K. Healing drone
: Summons a Common Clinical Drone that automatically heals nearby allies.
Passive Skill - Shield of the Savior: Installed shield speeds up the respawn of allies. Healing items are used 25% faster.
Ultimate Ability - Supplies: Summons a pod filled with high quality protective gear.

Lifeline or Lifeline is probably one of the best options available right now and you are always happy to have him on your team. She is especially dominant in the early game, where she can not only heal herself and her teammates with her drone, but also quickly restore fallen teammates, as well as put up a barrier for protection.

Her special ability, Supplies, is generally an indispensable thing, at any stage of the game. This gives you guaranteed healing and good gear. In almost all cases, calling a supply pod will result in an upgrade for you or your team members. This ability is also great for a friend resurrected by a beacon who has lost all his equipment. They can get some quick upgrades and get back into the fight as soon as possible.

Bangalore

Tactical Skill -smoke gun: Launches a high-speed smoke bomb that explodes on impact, creating a smoke screen.
Passive Skill - Fast March: Hitting you while running increases your movement speed for a short time.
Ultimate Ability - Rolling Thunder: Calls in an artillery barrage that slowly moves across the area.

Bangalore is a great run with gun type hero if you like an aggressive playstyle. She can dive into a fight with a passive speed stimulator and escape with a smoke cannon.

Her ability to blow smoke can be used in many ways, you can cover your team's escape, hide teammates who are respawning or looting, and hide your team from sudden aggression from enemies.

The passive ability is also good, no need to get hit! If you are running and someone is shooting nearby, it will activate and give you a speed boost.

Ultimate is the weakest part in Bangalore, but it is very effective in terms of zoning enemies in the area. Having directed artillery shelling at the zone, the enemy will quickly try to leave it. You and your teammates are not afraid of such damage, so if you are pinned down, you can strike from above. Alternatively, you can use it as a way to get rid of the enemy team. The problem with this ability is that it's really slow and obvious, so most players will be able to avoid it.

A-CLASS

Pathfinder

Tactical Skill - hook cat
: Allows you to quickly reach hard-to-reach places.
Passive Skill - Infiltration: Scans landmark beacons to find out the next location of the ring.
Ultimate Ability - Rosometh: Launches a cable that can be used by any player.

Pathfinder seems a little underrated right now, but once players start to understand the ability and grappling capabilities, you'll start to feel differently about this legend. The hits you can only do with a grappling hook make this character a worthy choice. At first glance, the grappling hook looks like a standard harpoon that works in one direction, but in reality, if you shoot at a target and turn the other way, you will describe an arc, not reach for it in a straight line. This gives you the ability to move around objects and gain extra speed.

The rope thrower is highly durable and can be used in a variety of ways. It can be used for escape, aggression, or simply crossing problem terrain. The tether you craft lasts the entire game, so even if it wasn't useful initially, there's a chance it could come into play later in the fight.

Mirage

Tactical Skill - Psychosis: Creates a holographic decoy to distract the enemy.
Passive Skill - Encore!: Automatically uses a decoy and applies disguise for five seconds after being knocked out.
Ultimate Ability - Disappear: Uses a command of decoys to distract the enemy while disguising you.

At first glance, you would probably say that Mirage is a weak character. Reading his abilities leaves you wondering how useful he will be, but in practice he turns out to be surprisingly very useful. Let's first remove the passive skill, it is frankly weak. At the moment of the knockout, the decoy does not deceive anyone, and the disguise is not very useful.

Mirage's tactical ability, however, is extremely useful and versatile! Sending decoys can be a big distraction and give you a quick advantage, you can use it to check areas for enemy units or send it forward to the beacon to see if it's safe to resurrect. Mirage also has one of the best trap exit abilities. Although decoys are not very useful, they do provide a distraction and provide little cover from fire. The main advantage is obviously invisibility, which can quickly put you in an advantageous position.

Gibraltar

Tactical Skill -Protective Dome: Places a protective dome that blocks attacks for 15 seconds.
Passive Skill - Weapon Shield: While aiming, you turn on a weapon shield that protects from enemy fire.
Ultimate Ability - Bombardment: Causes massive shelling of the marked position.

Gibraltar is solid in every way. His tactical, passive and ult has an absolute utility, making Gibraltar a great choice for those who just want to contribute to the team. Defensive Dome is great for blocking incoming fire, protecting your team during a revive or looting, and for hitting enemies by jumping in and out of them. The downside to this ability is that your enemies can use it the same way you can. While you are inside, they can jump in and out of it to shoot at you and return to defense. It's still a very reliable ability and is useful in many situations.

Gibraltar's gun shield makes him a good potential sniper and aggressive character. If you are in an even fight, you will usually always win because you have more health than your opponent with a shield. This doesn't mean you can't be stopped, but it does mean you have more shield than any other legend. The sniper aspect gives you an advantage because you can take a shot at the enemy and block his response., hiding in the shield's field of action.

The bombing is decent, but not outstanding. A huge minus, the slow deployment of carpet bombing. However, the skill is very effective for pushing the enemy away from your team.

B-CLASS

Wraith

Tactical Skill - Into emptiness: Moves you quickly through the Void, allowing you to avoid damage.
Voices from the Void: A certain voice always warns you of danger. Apparently, this voice is on your side.
Ultimate Ability - Breach: For 60 sec. links 2 locations with portals that your entire team can use.

Ghost is an interesting hero and can be a formidable opponent in the right hands. The problem for her is that while she can evade an attack with her tactical abilities, she can be easily tracked, and if you don't have a team nearby to back you up, you'll still be an obvious target.

Everything is in order with the liability, and by the time you hear the voice, you already have a clear picture of what is happening around you.

The ultimate is very useful in certain situations, but unfortunately it's pretty obvious when Wraith uses it that she can be finished off while creating the portal. You can potentially drive the enemy into the rift as a tactic, but again this will be a minor benefit.

Bloodhound

Tactical Skill -Eye of the Allfather: Allows you to briefly see enemies, traps, and footprints through objects in front of you.
Passive Skill - Pathfinder: Sees traces left by enemies.
Ultimate Ability - Beast Hunter: Sharpens the senses, allowing faster movement and highlighting prey.

Bloodhound is probably one of the more interesting characters and his ultimate is really cool. The problem is that tracking abilities only work really well in a very sociable team. Bloodhound is very good if you have a Bangalore in your team, who can obscure the area and allow you to kill easily with your skills. In general, passive and tactical abilities are only half useful in the right situation.

C-CLASS

Caustic

Tactical Skill -Trap "Knox": Installation of canisters with poisonous gas "Knox". They release gas if they are hit by a weapon or if an enemy is nearby.
Passive Skill - "Nox" Visor: Allows you to see enemies through your gas.
Ultimate Ability - Nox Grenade: Covers a large area in a cloud of Nox gas.

Last but not least is Caustic. While not a fearsome legend, he is too weak to be of much use. His canisters are obvious and don't do much damage. Most of the game takes place in open areas, so his gas isn't very useful unless you're fighting in melee. His passive only works well if you actually trap someone in a gas cloud, which usually only happens with his ultimate. The Knox grenade is probably the best part of the Caustic. You can throw a grenade from a distance and it will cover a large area. Unfortunately, it doesn't deal much damage and is usually easy to avoid. The caustic is pretty much good for zoning, but unfortunately, for today, it is very little!
