Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is still in early access, but dozens of mods have already begun to appear, giving you new ways to customize and personalize your medieval RPG sandbox experience.
Below you will find the best Bannerlord mods we have found so far. Some tweak and change gameplay, others improve the look of the world or characters, and one adds a developer console to Bannerlord so you can type commands easily.
Be sure to read each mod's page in its entirety - there may be specific installation instructions, and some mods require you to start a new campaign before they work. Back up your files and saved games, and be aware that updates to Bannerlord, which is still in Early Access, may prevent some mods from working in the future. We will update this list as new mods become available.
GAMEPLAY MODES
Bannerlord Tweaks : This is a handy set of improvements and changes, including an increase in the amount of fame you get from battles and rewards received from tournaments, an increase in crafting endurance limit and experience multiplier, a party bonus (size) based on your leadership and steward skill , and many other useful settings for everything from settlements to sieges and castle buildings. There's a lot of good stuff here.
Detailed character creation : While Bannerlord's character creation tools are already impressively robust, this mod gives you additional options such as setting your character's weight, age, and muscle mass.
Hideout Player Party Limit Removed : Allows you to use your entire army to attack bandit hideouts instead of just a few members - very useful in the mid to late game to deal with those heavy duty hideouts.
Smith Forever : This module eliminates the cost of stamina, blacksmithing, refining, and smelting, which means you can keep working as long as you have the materials to craft.
Gay marriage : This mod removes the gender check when you start a romance, allowing you to court and marry characters even if they are the same gender as your character. The same restrictions apply - the desired partner must be single and you can no longer be related to them.
Mixed Gender Troops : There is no reason for men to have fun on the battlefield. This custom mod adds a mixture of female soldiers to every faction and soldier type in Bannerlord. It can be configured to apply only to certain types of units, depending on your preferences.
Cheer Mod : Do you know how your soldiers greet you joyfully and inspiringly after the battle? Now you can join them. Raise your sword and shout with them with a cry of victory. Raaar!
Quick Dialogue : Bannerlord has a huge number of loading screens - simply entering into a dialogue with villagers, caravans, lords and bandits opens a loading screen to jump in and out of the conversation. This mod adds a new menu option for having conversations without having to do it face to face, thus bypassing those extra loading screens.
Screamer Lord : If you really want to immerse yourself in Bannerlord, this mod allows you to use your own voice to give commands to your troops. Using a speech recognition tool called VoiceAttack, you can direct your troops by speaking (shouting!) into the microphone. The free version of VoiceAttack gives you 20 commands, but if you purchase the premium version you get 50.
VISUAL FASHIONS
NPC update : We are currently working on this mod that enhances the appearance of NPC Bannerlord with character creation tools. This is not an attempt to make everyone beautiful, but to give them more character, to make them look rougher, tougher and better. You can even copy face codes and apply them to your character.
BannerEditor Enhancer A: If you're going to be a Bannerlord, you need an eye-catching banner. This mod greatly expands the color gamut, giving you more options in the banner maker tool.
Dro Color Correction : Enhances colors for deeper greens, richer sunsets, and overall crisper colors.
Invisible Helmet : You spent all your time in the character creator, so why should you hide your face? This mod removes your helmet while keeping the armor bonus.
COMMUNAL FASHIONS
Developer Console : Once installed, it gives you access to the developer console by pressing Ctrl + tilde (~) key. This will allow you to enter console commands you can find here , which can be used to add money to your character, gain levels, add soldiers to your party, increase your skills, and more.
Intro Disabler : Listen, it's a good intro with a flaming hot sword with a hammer and a lot of logos on it. And this, frankly, is not even a long introduction. But does it need to be seen every time you start the game? Probably no. This disables it.
V : Vortex is not a Bannerlord mod, it's a mod installer and manager Nexus mods . I included it here because it supports Bannerlord and is an extremely useful tool for getting all your mods up and running.
