Lucid Adventure Walkthrough Guide

If you want to progress faster in Lucid Adventure, Com2us' new Idle RPG, you're in the right place! Today's Lucid Adventure tips and cheats will walk you through everything you need to do to be successful.

Lucid Adventure: Idle RPG is a traditional idle side-scrolling game that incorporates a lot of familiar concepts, but you'll need extra help throughout the steps, especially since there are some interesting and less common mechanics involved.

We'll talk about unlocking heroes, upgrading weapons, and returning to start over, as well as everything else you need to know about the game. So, without further ado, let's jump straight into our Lucid Adventure: Idle RPG tips and guide!

Guide to Lucid Adventure

One of my biggest problems with Lucid Adventure is that the Idle RPG part doesn't work the way you'd expect at first, which is a little frustrating. As long as your characters go offline up to a certain stage (negligible compared to what they can achieve when playing), the biggest problem is that you don't get weapons and other rewards offline.

This means that instead of playing in short stages, you should keep the game on to get the most out of it - faster progression and, most importantly, weapons to keep them up to date.

The good news is that the game has a battery saver mode that works really well: just press the menu button on the left and select "Sleep Mode" from the top bar.

The actual game screen will be replaced with a very minimalist interface that will save your battery but help you progress faster and get all those big rewards.

Get all the weapons and power them up

Your heroes can only equip one of the many weapons available in the game, but this does not mean that you should completely ignore all the others, on the contrary!

To keep all those cool weapons useful, Lucid Adventure sees them offer a bonus to your team members... even if those weapons aren't equipped. Together, these bonuses are actually more than what the equipped weapon itself offers.

So don't forget to equip your rarest weapons with the ones available so that your heroes get the highest bonuses, but also constantly upgrade all other weapons for a massive overall boost.

Join a Guild for a Conquest Round

Once you reach team level 3 - or something like that - you can join a guild. They are really useful right now, as you can participate in the so-called Conquer Rounds and fight against extremely strong opponents for top rewards.

All guild members need to be very active in order to get the best rewards, but at the end of the day, anything is better than nothing, so be sure to play your part and reap the rewards.

You can also "compete" in guild missions, which basically see you send multiple heroes to complete some tasks (they only seem to be temporary), but also donate weapons for Guild points and get all sorts of loot from there.

In other words, the more active and powerful your guild is, the better.

Level up your heroes

To complete all stages, your levels must be as high as possible. So remember to constantly increase their difficulty to get the most out of them.

This is how I usually do things and I'm really happy with the results:

First, I upgrade Hohoians as much as possible. These are small white animals that generate gold. You want them to be at the highest level possible (usually over 100 hero levels) to get tons of money for Hero upgrades.

Then, with four fingers, I touch the avatars of the four heroes who are currently in combat.

This will line them up (pretty much) equally and save you a lot of time. If someone gets left behind, it's easier to get him or her to catch up afterwards, and definitely easier than leveling them individually - like I did early in the game.

Develop your heroes

Although the levels of the heroes are reset with each return, the upgrades you put into the "Party Management" section always remain the same. And you have to make sure that they are always maxed out (or at least spend all the XP points).

You can increase the general level of the hero right there, based on his level, unlock new skills and level them up.

This requires a lot of experience points, which are only gained when you reset your progress and start over.

Always focus on the five heroes you will bring into battle (the Hohoians will always follow you through all stages), but don't completely ignore the heroes you don't actively use, as they can be useful later on in special cases that you may choose to, when return.

Get new heroes with benefits in certain stages

You can unlock new heroes with Spending Diamonds and I suggest you have at least 5 (although 6 is even better). You'll get all the diamonds you need for free - and fairly quickly, so unlocking new heroes won't be a big deal.

But there are different cases that you can start during your adventure, each of which has monsters that have weaknesses against magic or physical attacks. If you can create a full team of Heroes that has an advantage, you will always do better and advance to a more advanced level before restarting.

Also, when you unlock other features later in the game, you will be able to bring 5 heroes into battle (so you can replace the gold gathering fluffies). That's why it's important to unlock more heroes and level them up.

Collect your diamonds!

As I said before, the game offers a lot of diamonds (which are premium currency) for free. This will help you a lot, especially in the early stages. But make sure you collect them all and take advantage of all the free diamond offers you get.

The fastest way to get a lot of diamonds quickly is to follow my advice above and run the game in battery saver mode. This way, every 10-20 minutes you can return to the game, quickly level up your heroes and collect tons of rewards.

You also have daily missions to complete and all sorts of missions and rewards, but don't forget that every 3 hours you can also watch a video ad to get 150 diamonds for free!

Buy God's Blessings!

One important set of permanent upgrades can be purchased in the store along with Diamonds: God's Blessings. They will offer some nice bonuses and power-ups to help you in the fight.

To see them, go to the in-game store and select the "God's Blessing" tab at the top. Scroll all the way to the right and you'll see them: get at least the first level of permanent boosts to get this benefit, then come back to spend extra diamonds when you get the chance.

How to level up your team?

One of the biggest challenges I had early on was figuring out what I needed to do to increase my team level in order to unlock new features.

And while the game itself doesn't show how much XP you have and how much you need to advance to the next team level (or at least I haven't been able to figure it out), you do gain experience when you return. (aka reset progress and start over).

The more advanced stage you come back from, the more XP you will get, and it is possible, especially in the early stages, to get one extra level for each return, although in my case two returns were usually required.

Don't forget to activate buffs

Based on your progress in Lucid Adventure, you will get a chance to trigger 1-3 buffs for each playthrough.

These buffs happen every time and you can spend diamonds to try and replace a poor one with a better one, but it's all luck in the end. In any case, anything is better than nothing, so don't forget to activate these buffs as soon as you can in the game.

The buffs look like gold coins next to your team profile in the top left corner - click on them to activate when you meet the requirements.

Win the best loot in the Tower of Nightmare

While there's nothing to be done early on in Lucid Adventure: RPG, as you level up and unlock new features, you'll soon have full hands.

And one of the first things you unlock early on (at team level 4) is the Tower of Nightmare, where you fight through progressively harder levels for very rare loot.

Things will get really difficult very quickly and choosing a good strong hero is very important as you will be constantly jumping from monsters with high magic defense to monsters with high physical defense and so on.

Try it again and again, go back to the main game and come back to gain experience and level, then do your best to reach the highest possible level. The weapon rewards you get from there are amazing!

When to return to Lucid Adventure?

Return is basically a "prestigious" element that most idle games have. This means you reset your progress and start from scratch (more or less).

In the case of Lucid Adventure, each return will reward you with experience points, which will allow you to constantly upgrade heroes by leveling them up, unlocking and upgrading new skills.

Returning too often is not the best strategy, because you will have a minimum amount of experience points and it will not matter. I recommend waiting until you reach a point where the transition to a new stage is very slow and difficult.

Early on, you can easily return after going back 150-200 steps further than before, but it also depends on what heroes you have and whether you are playing in one of the special areas or not.

In any case, I recommend returning when you've completed 100+ stages over the previous best to maximize your experience gain. Also, always spend diamonds to get double the reward - it's essential for fast(er) progress!

These would be the tips and tricks we had for other Lucid Adventure: Idle RPG players. If you have additional suggestions feel free to share them with the world below.
