House of Ashes, the next installment in the Dark Pictures trilogy, premiered a new trailer as part of the Gamescom Introduction Night Live Pre-Show. The trailer confirmed that the game will release on October 22 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and PC.
The trailer shows familiar circumstances: a group of soldiers find themselves underground, where an ominous monster lives, hiding in the shadows. But this time, the developers are asking the question: when every choice can dehumanize, are we ready to do anything for the sake of survival? Perhaps people are real monsters?
The game will also ship with the Pazuzu Edition, which includes a statue of the monster itself, as well as stickers and a pin. This has been revealed before, but at least this time we were able to see it in more detail. You can watch the trailer below.
