People Sell iPhone with Fortnite Installed for Over $10000

Incredibly, people have turned to eBay to try and make a nice profit during the Epic Games saga against Apple.

Several sellers have listed iPhones on eBay with Fortnite installed for over £10, with Avito having an average price of £000.

For those of you who are unaware of the ongoing dispute between Epic and the most valuable company on the planet, you can find out more in our timeline. Fortnite vs. Apple . To sum up, Epic games have been trying to waive the 30% tax that Apple and Google are imposing on their app stores. In response to Epic Games' breach of terms and conditions, Apple and Google have removed Fortnite from their stores. Epic Games already had a lawsuit waiting in the wings and promptly sued Apple and Google for monopolizing the industry we're in right now.

This has given people the option to increase the price of an iPhone if they have a working copy of Fortnite installed, which has led to a surge of new listings on online marketplaces, with most of them well beyond the cost of a new iPhone.

The situation is very similar to the 2014 Flappy Birds saga, when people resold mobile devices with a simplified one-touch high score search system for over $80. Interestingly, none of these sales made it to eBay, as the ads violated eBay policy.

For this reason, it is unlikely that eBay will endorse any Fortnite listings. Basically, you're not allowed to sell copies of Fortnite without Epic's permission, and you can't sell smartphones that contain any extra data beyond factory settings.

If you're desperate to play Fortnite on mobile, you can redownload a copy from your purchase history. If you've never downloaded Fortnite on your iOS device, it's much cheaper to buy an Android device and get a copy directly from Epic than it is to pay thousands for a free game.
