Luke Skywalker from Star Wars could be in Fortnite soon
Details found in the Fortnite files indicate that Star Wars' Luke Skywalker will land on the island soon.
In the past, Fortnite had an entire season dedicated to Star Wars. Also, one update went live last month for Star Wars Day, reintroducing a few lightsabers and a few themed skins.
Latest patch 21.10, which Epic Games rolled out on June 21, added Darth Vader into the mix, allowing players to take on the Sith Lord for a chance to use their lightsaber.
Recent rumors have claimed that iconic figures such as Han Solo, Leia Organa, and Luke Skywalker will also be in the fray by 2023. Now there is another noteworthy information that partially confirms this statement.
Luke Skywalker could be coming to Fortnite
According to the leak FNBRintel, the Fortnite 21.20 patch added a lightsaber for Luke, codenamed "NPC".
FNBRintel claims that if Luke Skywalker joins the fun as a non-playable character, he will fill the same function as Darth Vader.
As such, a fan-favorite character can appear as a boss that users must fight to earn their lightsaber.
At the time of writing, Epic Games has yet to hint that Luke Skywalker will be joining the battle royale in any capacity.
The studio's continued silence on the proposed Star Wars update means there's no official word on when Fortnite players can expect Luke Skywalker's alleged content to become available.
For now, Epic Games' focus remains on bringing another major Naruto crossover event to fruition.
Naruto Shippuden themed content goes live on Thursday, June 23rd, adding to the game four favorites Team 7 members Gaara, Hinata Hyuga, Itachi Uchiha and Orochimaru.
