For Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds players who are wondering how they can get their own mount, here's a guide to unlocking one of the first ones to become available in history, the Thundercat.
There are a bunch of other mounts in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, but the cat mount will be one of the easiest to get first. Players will receive other mounts by completing quests and main story missions, as well as using coupon codes.
How to get the thundercat mount in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds
To unlock the Thundercat mount in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, players will need to complete a reputation quest called "An unexpected company».
The quest should appear after completing a few initial story missions and as players work on getting their reputation level up to level 3. Reputation quests can be found in Menu -> Missions -> Reputation.
- Click on the Unexpected Company quest and players can choose to fast travel to Great Uncle Autumn's location or travel on foot.
- After talking to the great tree, players will need to find the Platypuses in the Corrupted Autumn Forest nearby.
- Follow the marker to find them, and then it will lead the players to Thundercat. Defeat enemies to protect the cat from harm.
- Take the cat back to Great Uncle Autumn and he will reward players with the ability to summon mounts.
How to summon mounts
Before players can use a mount in the field, they need to call it in the menu. Go to Menu, Character, and then click Mounts.
From there, press the button labeled Info and then press the summon button to use the required materials. After it is finally called, press the mount button. It will do thunder current mount.

How to improve mounts
Back in the mount menu, players can click the Upgrade button to increase their mount's stats. The stronger the mount, the better the player character's stats.
