Mythic and Legendary Items League of Legends: Stats, Classes and more
League of Legends is set to do a massive overhaul of its item system in the 2021 preseason, and Riot has revealed what to expect with 23 Mythic and multiple Legendary items launching in November.
The well-documented changes coming to Rift will give each champion at least two mythic items to embed, according to Riot.
While it's going to be trial and error to see how they interact with champions, "Mythic items are the cornerstones of your builds with big effects that define your playstyle," Riot Games producer Jessica "Safelocked" previously told
We've previously looked at a few items for the Marksmen, but now the studio has pulled back the veil on what to expect from the preseason, though a lot of that could change after Season 11 releases.
The idea behind these mythic items is to give players a clearer idea of what to build for and what these items will allow your champion to do.
As League continues to expand its player base, this will help new players quickly understand what works and what doesn't, while still allowing theory makers to experiment with different builds.
Riot previously explained that they wanted to keep about a third of all items the same, update another third, and make the final part consisting of completely new items that people would struggle with.
We now have a better idea of what the developers had in mind with this as they've revealed everything that's coming when the 2021 Preseason element overhaul goes into effect.
This, of course, does not include changes to the Item Shop, which will include a new interface and improved item trees.
While many of the new item changes are already available for testing on the PBE servers, the items listed are still subject to change before they are finally released to live servers.

The jungle item rework took inspiration from last year's Support Items update, after which champions in this role only needed to spend gold on the first item. Junglers will be given a choice of two starting items that disappear from their inventory after a few Smite uses, permanently granting their effects and upgrading Smite to Chilling or Defiant.
