Minecraft 1.19: New mobs - where to find the guardian, frog, quiet and tadpole
There are not so many new mobs in Minecraft 1.19, but finding them can be a big problem. This guide will help you quickly find all living entities added by the developers in this version.
An update is finally out for Minecraft The Wild, and with it a number of new and useful mobs. Since Minecraft is a huge open world game, finding these new mobs can take a long time. This article tells you how to find all the new mobs so you can skip the boring and long search and jump right into the fun.
frog minecraft
Frogs only spawn in swamp and mangrove biomes in groups of two to five mobs. Players can find Marsh Frogs (orange) in swamps and Tropical Frogs (white) in mangrove swamps.
Swamp biomes are characterized by dark trees and grass, vines hanging from trees, and numerous bodies of water. You will usually find them in gorges or as extensions of the forest biome. Mangrove swamps are a variant of the swamp biome that spawns in warmer regions, usually near jungles and deserts.
Players can try to find the swamps manually or do so with the locate command if cheats are enabled in their world.
Tadpole Minecraft
The tadpole is the passive baby version of the frog. Mobs mature into one of three frog varieties, depending on the biome they mature in. Tadpoles do not come naturally - they hatch from frog eggs, which are created by breeding frogs. Just feed two frogs slime, and then one of them will become pregnant and lay eggs (spawn), like turtles.
Quiet Minecraft
Players can create Quiet using summon eggs in creative mode. Otherwise, they appear in the following places:
Forest mansion
Players will find caged rooms on the first floor of the woodland mansion, usually there are 4 cobblestone cages in the mansion, each of which has 3 quiet ones locked in. Players can use the lever nearby to open the doors and free them all. Thus, finding a mansion is the fastest way to get a large number of quiet ones at once.
However, be careful when exploring the mansions, as they are home to dangerous hostile mobs, including zombies, creepers, champions, rogues, etc.
Rogue Outpost
Similar to Iron Golems, Quiet Ones spawn in the wooden cages of a Rogue Outpost. Each cage can have up to three Quiet Ones - just break the structure to let them escape. After that, they roam around and are able to find certain items. Players may want to deal with the Rogues first before getting the Quiet, as large groups of Rogues are quite dangerous.
Quiet breeding
If you give a Quiet Shard of Amethyst while playing a melody nearby, he will play a short sound of Amethyst and another Quiet will appear nearby. This ability can be used again after 2,5 minutes.
Minecraft Keeper
Keeper - a characteristic monster that appears in the caves of the Dark Depths and is summoned by skulk screamers. Players can also summon him outside of the Dark Depths by blocking the Skalk Screamer three times. To get Skalk Screamer Blocks, players need to find them in the Dark Depths and collect them with a tool with the Silk Touch enchantment.
