Minecraft Best Enchantment - Armor, Sword, Pickaxe, Trident, etc.
Our guide to enchanting in Minecraft has all the best options for creating Armor, Sword, Pickaxe, Bow, Axe, Shovel, Fishing Rod, and even your own Trident! If you want to get the most out of your enchantments in Minecraft, then we've got all the information you'll need.
GAINING EXPERIENCE
You only need a little bit of experience and levels to really start enchanting your gear to the fullest! As a small hint for this, you can disenchant some of the gears and items that you may have in your grindstone. This is a useful way to get early levels quickly.
The maximum experience level at which an item can be enchanted increases when bookcases are placed one block away from the enchanting table. After 1.3, the cost of enchantments is calculated using the formula: Base level (basic) = (1..8 + (b/2) + 0..b),
Next, the cost for each slot is calculated separately: Level in the top slot = max (basis / 3, 1) Level in the middle slot = (basis × 2) / 3 + 1Level in the bottom slot = max (basis, b × 2)
The best option for placing bookshelves around the enchanting table.
where b is the number of nearby bookcases. No more than 15 cabinets are counted, standing at the level of the table or 1 block higher with a gap from the table to one block (5x5 square with a table in the center), there should not be any blocks between the table and the cabinets (even snow, torches, etc.) etc.), otherwise the corresponding cabinets will not be used. Thus, if you need to enchant something, but the character’s level is not enough, with the help of torches you can temporarily “turn off” the cabinets and lower the enchantment level.
BEST ARMOR SPELLS
All Armor
This enchantment should be placed on all of your armor!
- Protection IV- This is a must for every piece of armor you have because it gives you four extra armor points for every piece you have enchanted. So, if you have all four pieces (helmet, chest, legs and boots), you will get an extra armor of 16. You can only have one defensive spell per piece of armor.
- Fix-if you want your armor to last almost forever, then having a repair enchantment is very important. If your armor has some durability, then a mend enchantment will restore it by consuming the experience orbs you collect.
- Strength III- Durability gives everything you enchanted a chance that the item will not lose its durability when used. You'll want to make sure your items don't constantly consume your experience orbs through the mend spell. It's just an additional way to keep your items from degrading and hopefully keep you from losing armor. Just try not to die in the lava pools!
Helmet only
- Breath III - This spell will help you hold your breath underwater for a long period of time. This is very useful if you are collecting coral or exploring the oceans.
- Relationship with water (Submariner) - Your ability to mine underwater is quite slow, this spell removes the restriction that is placed on you when you go deep.
Only Boots
- Depth Walker III – If you have any plans for the underwater world, then you will want these charms. This helps increase your underwater movement speed, so if you're planning on exploring coral reefs or anything else, you'll definitely need this!
- Ice drift II - It should be noted that if you do not have plans to go under water, then you can turn the water into frozen ice, which allows you to walk on the surface of the reservoir. It creates a frosted ice block as you walk on water, making your journey a little easier. The decision between these two enchantments largely depends on what you do most often in the game.
- Weightlessness IV - Fall damage can be pretty harsh in Minecraft, so weightlessness will help mitigate the damage you'll take if you accidentally fall off a high platform.
BEST SWORD ENCHANTS
- Sharpness V – Gives you a fairly significant melee damage boost
- Heavenly punishment – Not a bad option if you mainly fight undead monsters.
- Slashing Blade III – Increases the damage of your clear attacks, all damage buffs are good when we are talking about a sword.
- Looting III - This will increase the number of items that can drop from monsters.
- Durability III - Reduces the chance of your sword breaking and makes it more durable.
- Fix – Repair your item if it has lost its durability.
BEST BOW ENCHANTMENTS
- Power V – Increases your damage from arrows, always good on weapons!
- Durability III – Reduces the chance that your item will have low durability that decreases with use.
- Shockwave (Knockback) I - This increases knockback when you shoot. If you're using a bow, you usually want your enemy to be further away from you, and this spell makes that more likely.
- Ignite (Burning Arrow) - Now you will shoot flaming arrows! Pretty good for dealing extra damage over time to monsters and other players.
- Infinity or Mending - It depends a lot on whether you have a method of collecting a large number of arrows. If you have access to a lot of arrows, then you can pretty much skip infinity in favor of repair. If not, then you can go with infinity to reduce the hassle to get arrows. However, you can end up breaking your bow if you don't have a fix, so weigh those benefits against whether you can easily create another high end bow!
Notes
- ↑ The Sharpness V enchantment can only be obtained on golden swords. However, it is possible to forge two swords with Sharpness IV.
- ↑ A bow with Strength V can only be forged.
- ↑ Efficiency V on diamond and stone tools can only be obtained by forging.
BEST AXE, PICKAXE AND SPADE ENCHANTMENTS
- Efficiency V - This will increase the speed at which you collect material depending on the item it was placed on.
- Durability III - Reduces the chance that your item will break.
- Fix – Repair your item if it had its durability reduced when you collect experience orbs.
- Ax Only: Sharpness V – The ax is actually a pretty good weapon, it does more damage than a sword. Sharpness will help increase this damage if you use it for that purpose.
Silk Touch or Luck
You may only have one of these on your harvesting tools, but they are both very useful for a specific thing. Touch useful if you want to move the entire block. Things like leaves, ice blocks, glowing stone and more. So, if you're more into design and want to customize your area, you'll need at least one of your Silk Touch enchanted tools.
Good luck Gives a chance to drop more resources. Works with non-metal ores, glowstone, tall grass, wheat (seeds only), hellish growths and watermelons. Also increases flint drop chance, up to 100% at level III.
Luck is pretty much more important on the Pickaxe, but both spells have their uses on the ax and shovel.
BEST ELYLTRA ENCHANTMENTS (ELYTRA)
- Durability III – With some chance, the resource of the tool will not decrease.
- Fix – Repair your element if it had its durability and it has decreased.
BEST FISHING CHARMS
- Lure III - Lure spell reduces waiting time for catching fish. This is obviously a big advantage if you fish a lot.
- Sea Fortune III – This reduces the chance of catching unwanted items, and increases the chance of catching treasure!
- Durability III – With some chance, the resource of the tool will not decrease. Works with non-metal ores, glowstone, tall grass, wheat (seeds only), hellish growths and watermelons. Also increases flint drop chance, up to 100% at level III. Not compatible with Silk touch.
- Fix – Repair your item if it had its durability reduced when you collect experience orbs.
More Useful about Minecraft
BEST TRIDENT ENCHANT
- Impaler V - This is only useful if you fight water mobs a lot. If not, then you don't have to worry about it either, because it doesn't increase damage against ground monsters.
- Loyalty III “This is probably the best general spell for a trident! When you throw your trident, this spell will automatically return it to you. The higher the level you have on it, the faster it will return to you.
- Thunderer - If it hits an entity, it will be struck by lightning.
- Durability III - With some degree of probability, the strength will not decrease.
- Fix - Uses experience to repair an item in hands or in armor slots.
