Minecraft Mob Axolotl - Everything You Need to Know!
Axolotls are neutral Minecraft mobs that will be added in the upcoming update 1.17 and can attack other mobs and the player if they feel danger.
Axolotl swarms were one of the latest discoveries of the Minecraft Live 2020 livestream. This is a cute little amphibian, but looks are deceiving. This thing is a bit of a predator on its own, and if you gather enough of them, they will form a charming army that will help take out enemy mobs that might threaten you underwater!
Where do axolotls appear?
You can only find the new Axolotl mob in the new Lush Cave biome. This is a new area that can be found near the new acacia tree and by digging under where it spawned. This cave is filled with vegetation and water pools. In these pools you will find the Axolotl.
Taming and collecting Axolotls
Axolotls are not actually tamed in the traditional way, instead you can get them by taking a bucket of water and using it on an amphibian. This will place it in the bucket and you can transport the lizard wherever you want. This could be the aquarium you set up in your base, or a small lake nearby.
Axolotl army
If you want to capture the monument in the ocean, be aware that the Guardians hiding there are quite strong. Well, if you need help, you can collect yourself a bunch of axolotls to help you storm these mobs. The axolotl will help fight any creatures that attack you or get too close to you. They run into mobs and will distract them while you deal damage. If the axolotl itself gets hit, it will pretend to be dead and be able to regenerate its health. You can also learn a mechanic that will allow the axolotl to heal you!
