Lots of fresh information about Throne & Liberty. Servers, bosses, weather...
No snot, here's a summary of the most interesting information from the NCSoft Throne & Liberty conference (straight from the upcoming G-Star 2022 fair).
- There will be one widespread version of the game for the whole world
- But servers will separate players by region and language.
- One server is designed to accommodate from 3 to 000 people
- Gameplay should be balanced between PvE and PvP
- Although it is PvP that should play a more important role in the endgame.
- The standard PvP activity will be fighting for objects that may belong to the guild.
- Players will have to fight in epic siege battles for hundreds of people
- The day and night cycle will have a real impact on the gaming environment
- The day will last 4 hours and the night 1 hour. In total, one in-game day is 5 hours.
- There will also be dynamic weather!
- The weather will affect our skills, for example during rain / storm, lightning skills will have an expanded area and, for example, an arrow fired against the wind will fly further and deal more damage.
- The strength of some monsters and bosses will change day and night
- Top players on the leaderboards will be able to use time of day skills twice per day
- As for PvP, there will be local events in the game that will completely change the area.
- Local events will take place every three hours
- Green indicates regional events, red indicates boss fights
- The game will be completely open, and the transition from the open location to the dungeon should be smooth (no loading screen)
- In addition to the standard modes of transport, players will be able to use a rope and a grappling hook… or the ability to turn into animals
The release of the game is scheduled for next year. According to the latest data, Amazon Games should become the publisher of Throne & Libera for the Western market.
