How things work

During the match, you earn gold by killing enemy creeps and heroes, destroying towers and exterminating monsters in the forest. What are the items in the game?

It is also worth considering that unique increases to characteristics do not stack with each other - for example, if you buy two swords that give +40 to attack and unique +8% lifesteal, you will get +80 to attack, but still +8% of lifesteal.

What to give my character?

First of all, you need to understand that for each of the heroes there is its own assembly of items that makes it as effective as possible (taking into account the fact that you know how to play for the indicated hero correctly), so there is no coolest sword or best boots in the game.

If you're playing a fast and fragile archer character (like Layla), then try to buy items that give lifesteal and increase both movement speed and attack speed - such heroes are more suitable for shooting creeps than for brawling with other heroes, so the emphasis should be on speed and “forest” equipment improvements.

If your choice is a tank, then first of all you need to improve health. A large health pool will keep you alive longer and therefore allow your allies to stay safe behind you longer. Usually in such cases it is best to concentrate on buying good armor with regeneration bonuses. Heart of Steel or Chestplate of Brute Force are quite good for such characters in any case.

Fast melee characters should usually focus on speed and attack power, coupled with additional bonuses - try to pick up anything that speeds you up and buffs you while weakening and slowing enemies. Such damage characters do not need to stand still and their main task is to quickly eliminate enemy heroes - so any weakening of heroes and an increase in attack is only a plus for you.

When playing as supports, try to increase your defense and movement speed, as well as buy items that reduce the cooldown of skills - you will most often need to use them, and not the standard attack. Book of Sages, Tome of Evil and Enchanted Talisman - your choice.

If you want to be a jungler and quickly jump between lanes, then the choice is obvious - you will need more bonuses to movement speed and killing monsters. Also, the jungler's equipment set depends on how exactly he wants to fight - if you want to help your allies in melee, then get swords to attack, and if you prefer supports, then take magic equipment that increases mana regeneration and reduces skill cooldown.
