Modern Warfare 2: How to kill enemies with an inflatable bait
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 entered the open beta stage and received some neat new additions from Infinity Ward. One such field upgrade is the inflatable lure. Throwable and deployable pieces of equipment have always been able to hit enemy players as they have their own hitboxes.
The player can successfully eliminate an opponent using an upgraded decoy that damages enemy players and provides a complete kill on its own.
Inflatable bait works effectively in increasing kills in Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is currently in its open beta phase for PlayStation 4 and 5. The game is available to fans who pre-order it and receive access codes with 16 September.
Modern Warfare 2 once again gave players a fun toy. It was introduced as a field upgrade. The inflatable lure is a defensive archetype. It is launched when approached, and can also be deployed manually.
Twitter user @itsHunterTV was the first to post a video of him killing with an inflatable bait.
First, players will need to place the lure in a location of your choice. Players will then have to wait for an enemy to enter its trigger field, or drive the victim into the trap's area of effect themselves, which is preferable.
It is important to note that players will have to throw the inflatable bait directly towards the enemy in order for the enemy to step on it from above.
If an enemy player fails to notice the decoy device under their feet, it will automatically deploy after a delay, instantly killing them.
Players can also manually inflate the lure by pressing the command Field Upgrade again after deploying it for faster gadget activation.
Enemy players killed by this method will likely be less than happy with the replay showing them exactly what happened. An instant kill with an inflatable bait, which is nothing more than a fighter-shaped Kevlar balloon, will raise some concerns among the players.
Activision is running these beta phases specifically so that players can find exploits that developers and testers may have missed. Activision may be reworking the Field Upgrade in hopes of avoiding lobby abuse.
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 will have the same weapons and gear, including field upgrades. Watching this new saga unfold with tricks like this already popping up on the internet will be a treat. Fans are excited to experience a new era of upcoming Call of Duty games.
