Monsters are fake, but terror is real in Hell Fest's new retro adventure
CBS Movies и Lionsgate are paying homage to classic 80s horror movies by releasing a new slicer-eye retro trailer for their upcoming horror movie Hell Fest ahead of its release this week. College student Natalie (Forsythe) visits her childhood best friend Brooke (Edwards) with her roommate Taylor (Taylor-Klaus). If only it were any other time these three and their boyfriends could go to a concert or a bar, but it's Halloween, which means like everyone else, they'll be participating in Hellfest, a sprawling labyrinth of rides and games. . Every year, thousands of people follow the Infernal Festival to experience fear and terror in a ghoulish carnival of nightmares.
But for one visitor, Hell Fest is not entertainment - it is a hunting corner. An opportunity to blend in with a crowd of onlookers too caught up in the terrifyingly fun atmosphere to begin their bloody work. As the body count and the frenzy of the crowd continues to mount, he reveals his appearance, and Natalie, Brooke, Taylor and their boyfriends become the targets of the hunt as they fight to survive the night.
Halfest will hit theaters on September 28 this year.
