But that's not all Amazon Games developers are thinking this holiday season.
The popular book series "The Wheel of Time" will appear in New World in a new set of skins. See below for details on when they will be available and how to get them.
How to get the Wheel of Time skin pack in New World
The MMO from Amazon Games is looking forward to a successful ending in 2021.
New World will receive seven brand new Wheel of Time themed skins in collaboration with the Prime Video TV series. All players have to do to get them is to tune into Twitch.
In particular, players will need to Tune in to specific New World streamers on Twitch within seven hours of December 23rd to earn all items from this drop . A list of approved streamers can be found at official blog post .
The seven cosmetic items range from cloaks to crests, and are earned in the following order for every hour you watch:
- Nynaeve coat "Listen to the wind, it brings true wisdom."
- Aja's Red Cloak "This color serves as a warning to those who are trying to cause harm."
- Tam's Blade (Rapier skin) “Great, but deadly. A true guardian's weapon."
- Coat of arms of Ouroboros
- Children of the Light "Sometimes ivory robes can go against the intentions of those who wear them."
- Shadowspawn Blade (Sword skin) "The Terrifying Claw of the Terrible Dark Lord."
- Cloak of Egwene "Only the gifted can follow the path of magic."
For those unable to stream on that date, the blog post states that "You can watch Wheel of Time at your convenience on Amazon Prime Video and you have until January 12, 2022 to earn Twitch Drops."
This isn't the first time New World has teamed up with its Amazon affiliates to bring new gear to players. The game has several Twitch awards for Prime Gaming members, and has previously won other awards for customizing New World streamers.
