Can't Kill Toad Oggdo Bogdo?

This page of the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order guide explains a potential problem with exploring the game's first planet, Bogano. We explain why fighting Oggdo Bogdo, an optional boss, can seem like a daunting task. This page also has tips on how to deal with this enemy.

Oggdo Bogdo can be encountered while exploring Bogano. Jump over rocks and go through several dark corridors to get to your lair.

Toad Oggdo Bogdo is one of the optional bosses. This means you won't have to fight him during your initial exploration of Bogano. You can memorize the location of the boss's lair and return to it later.

As for the overgrown frog, you won't have to wait long to try and meet the boss again. We recommend taking care of two things:

1. Keep following the main path to Bogano until you unlock the ability to heal the hero. This will allow you to heal the hero twice during the fight (or three times if you find the yellow chest on Bogano).
2. Spend skill points on your opponent's play. This is effective against Oggdo Bogdo and "regular" toads.

An alternative solution is to change the difficulty level. A full description of the fight with this boss can be found in the bosses section.

You can do the same with other optional bosses encountered later in the campaign. The game does not force you to defeat them during the first encounter. You can fight them once the hero gets stronger and gains new power abilities.
