Neverwinter Gets Northdark Reaches DLC, Created By Famous Writer

Neverwinter (Online) has just received a new module called "Northdark Reaches".

This is a unique update because it was developed in collaboration with R.A. Salvatore and his son Geno Salvatore. Mr. Salvatore (Sr.) is an American science fiction and fantasy writer best known for his novels set in the world of the Forgotten Realms.

The Neverwinter expansion tells the story between Starlight Enclave and Glacier's Edge, the first two books in R.A. Salvatore's Path of the Drow trilogy.

In terms of what's new in the game, we're getting a new story campaign, new missions, a new Adventure Zone, an update to the Temple of the Spider dungeon, gear improvements (filtering and searching), easier travel, and an overhaul of the Wizard class.

Northdark Reaches is available immediately on PC and consoles.
