Details about alphaversion.
Valve is adding a feature to Steam that allows developers to invite people to test their games directly from the Steam client without a beta key. A new feature called Steam Playtest will allow interested testers to click a button in a game's listing on the Steam store to request access and be added to the queue.
The open alpha will test the unfinished piece of multiplayer content with limited information to get feedback and evaluate stability. Open Alpha will feature four previously introduced heroes, including Knight, Enchantress, Demigod, and Legenda. Heroes have a unique set of skills, utilities and combat styles, as well as an extensive library of rune items.
