New Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe Collaboration Will Give Players Rewards

If players aren't impressed with Season 18's latest Fortnite x Naruto collaboration, Epic Games has a few more collaborations planned for the coming weeks.

In addition to the main rumors and leaks related to the appearance of Spider-Man in Chapter 3, the developers plan to add several additional joint projects to the game.

Insiders have discovered and leaked new information about the upcoming Fortnite x Sideswipe (Rocket League) collaboration that the developers may add to the upcoming Chapter 3 or Season 18 of Fortnite.

Here's everything we know about the Fortnite x Sideswipe (Rocket League) collaboration.

What will happen to the Fortnite x Sideswipe (Rocket League) collaboration?
Sideswipe is a new mobile game from Psyonix, a spin-off of the mobile Rocket League, available in select regions. The game will be fully released by the end of this month and will be available on both Android and iOS devices.

According to renowned Fortnite leaker firemonkey, Epic is partnering with Sideswipe to promote mobile gaming and raise audience awareness of the new game.

The YouTube link in his tweet also contains several elements from the collaboration. Fortnite x Radiohead.

The developers will be bringing four fresh, new and unique cosmetics inspired by Fortnite x Sideswipe (Rocket League) to the game. These cosmetics will be an octane pickaxe, a back decoration, a banner badge, as well as an RL GG spray.

All of these rewards will be available to players during the event. It is not yet clear how players will be able to obtain these items. However, seeing as these rewards are fairly standard, they can be given to players after they complete certain objectives in the game.

Another thing that is not clear yet regarding the Fortnite x Sideswipe (Rocket League) collaboration is the release date. Chapter 3 of Fortnite is just a few weeks away, and seeing the success of the recent Fortnite x Naruto crossover, the developers may want to give players a bit of a breather.
