New Destiny 2 Season 19 Dungeon: Release date, what to expect, and more
Dungeons are some of the most challenging activities that Guardians will face in Destiny 2. While not as difficult as raids, they present quite a challenge for players. Unlike raids, these dungeons can also be completed with a single Guardian.
Currently in Destiny 2 only five dungeons. The latest dungeon to join the game was Duality, which was introduced with Season of the Haunted. With the new season approaching, more information surrounding the brand new dungeon has just surfaced.
When will the new dungeon air in Destiny 2 Season 19?
According to the latest Bungie blog post, the new Destiny 2 Season 19 dungeon is expected to go live on December 9, which is three days after the launch of the new season. At the moment, the lore and the main boss of the dungeon are unclear.
However, Guardians can expect the dungeon to tie in with the overall theme of the season itself. There have been rumors that Ana Bray and Rasputin will be actively involved in the upcoming season, but so far it's all just rumors. Guardians who own the Witch Queen expansion will be able to access this dungeon unless otherwise noted by Bungie.
However, if Rasputin does show up, the Guardians will see the return of the Seventh Seraph and the IKELOS weapon line. This weapon is directly related to Rasputin because it helps in creating Warmind cells. While Warmind Cell builds are a thing of the past, it will be interesting to see how they perform for subclasses once they return.
Since the dungeon will run at the same time around the world, here are the release times for different regions around the world.

With the new dungeon set to go live three days after Season launch, players can use that time to acclimate to the subclass rework coming to Destiny 2 Season 19.
From what has been listed on the blog, these changes may not look like much, but their effects can be drastic in the game. Each subclass will get its own set of nerfs and buffs. Not only that, some fragments and aspects will also be redone.
Overall, it looks like Bungie is setting the stage for the arrival of the Strand, the game's newest Darkness-based subclass. Strand is set to go live with Destiny 2 Lightfall. During this expansion, the Guardians will travel to a brand new location known as Neomuna, where they will face the Cloud Riders, who have the same abilities as the Lightbearers.
The Vanguard will witness a lot of conflict in the next few months. There is also the lingering issue of the resurrection of Nezarek, the first disciple of the pyramid on the Moon. There are many mysteries around this man, and it will be interesting to see how things turn out in the coming days.
Destiny 2 season 19 is scheduled to launch on December 6, while Lightfall is scheduled to launch on February 28, 2023.
