Fortnite's New Liferun Mode Will Be Based On Player Rescue
New gaming Creative mode Fortnite mode called "Liferun" will debut at PAX South.
Very soon, Fortnite players will have a new game mode, and this is an interesting twist on the current game format.
Instead of walking away with the most kills, players will have to focus on saving as many lives as possible.
This mode is coming to Fortnite through a partnership with the International Red Cross. Players will race across the map in golf carts to save lives, not take them.
It's definitely an interesting twist on the game that we're excited to see in action later this month.
A new Liferun mode will debut at PAX South, January 17-19, featuring DrLupo, Lachlan и ONE_shot_GURL. For those who want to tune in, they will be able to do so on Sunday, January 19th.
What we don't know is how the game mode will work. Beyond the premise, there will be a lot of speculation until we officially see how it all ends.
The mode was created by the Evolve team, the creators of the Zone Wars playlist, and Creative Showdown. With a track record like that, we're sure to get something good out of it.
It's unclear how long the mode will stay in the game once it enters the LTM rotation, but we expect it to stay for a few weeks.
Since the end of the first season of chapter 2 postponed until February , something will have to fill the void, and it seems that this will be one of the ways the developers plan to fill the resulting vacuum.
We'll find out what Epic has in store for this mode when we let's get to the release date later this month.
