Elden Ring Update 1.08 - Colosseum, new hairstyles and more
Elden Ring received update 1.08, bringing changes to the Colosseum for all players. This will allow players to participate in PvP and face off in arenas, whether it be 1v1, 3v3 or all-out Last-Man standing.
Developed by From Software, Elden Ring took the world by storm when it was released earlier this year. Hidetaka Miyazaki's latest masterpiece follows the Extinguished Ones as they travel across the Inter-Earth, facing numerous enemies.
Fans were hoping for new content for the Game of the Year contender, and FromSoftware surprised them by announcing a free Colosseum update yesterday. PvP Arena will allow players to test their builds and take on each other.
What's new in the Elden Ring update (1.08)?
The biggest new addition in the Elden Ring update (1.08) is, of course, the PvP Coliseums. Players will be able to fight each other in three Colosseums around the world.
PvP Coliseums
- The doors of the Colosseum are opening for the first time to reveal a new challenge, revealing three new arenas. Located in Limgrave, Calid and Leindell, each arena has its own set of rules and will be the theater of intense player versus player clashes.
Coliseum Limgrave
- Limgrave Colosseum has two modes: Combined Combat and Combat Challenge.
- In United Combat, fighters will be divided into two teams to fight in timed battles with the possibility of respawning. Each death and respawn grants points to opponents, offering victory to the team with the higher score.
- In Combat Or thral, each of them is stained for himself. Fighters in this mode can also respawn until the timer reaches zero and whoever has the most points will prevail as the winner.
Royal Coliseum
- The Royal Coliseum, located in Leindell, has a duel mode. The two Tarnished face off in a duel to the death, with no chance of respawning.
Colosseum Calida
- Caelid Colosseum has all of the above modes with the addition of the ability to summon Spirit Ashes to fight for the players.
The patch (1.08) also added a few new cosmetic options for players, whether in the Colosseum or on their adventure.
Cosmetics
- Five new hairstyles are also waiting for players returning to their Elden Ring adventure or taking on new challenges in the Coliseums.
With that said, let's take a look at the full Elden Ring (1.08) update note.
