Fortnite Update V11.11 - Description of Changes

These are the unofficial Fortnite 11.11 patch notes! Epic hasn't been writing detailed notes like they used to, so we're putting together a list of everything that's changed in the new update. We have some bug fix information and will be posting anything that has been added to the game. We will replace them with official entries if they are released.

The last update was just a "content" update that added a harpoon gun and some small changes to some of the weapons. Patch 11.11 should bring some big additions to the game, including a bunch of cosmetic leaks that you can find here.

Date and time of the release of the update

It was originally scheduled to be released on November 12, 2019 at 4am ET (0800 UTC). However, the patch has been delayed and we don't know exactly when it will be released.

POSSIBLE UPCOMING CHANGES

This section is based on leaks, nothing has been confirmed! Perhaps this material will be added in a future patch or will not be added at all.

Two possible weapons may be added to the game in the near future, but it's unclear which patch they will come in! One variant will return to the game, while the other will be a completely new weapon.

Machine gun with optical sight

The scoped assault rifle may return at some point. Every weapon rarity will be present and it looks like the magazine size will be reduced. 

Automatic pistol

The automatic pistol would be a completely new addition to the game. It's basically just a new variation of the SMG, but it will have a fairly fast rate of fire. This would be one of the only weapons in the game that doesn't have epic and legendary rarity at the moment. 

FORTNITE 11.11 BUG FIXES

Here are the expected bug fixes for patch 11.11. They were taken from Trello, which show everything that Epic is going to fix.

Battle Royale

• Due to an issue, we have temporarily disabled powerboats in competitive playlists and tournaments.
• There is a cosmetic issue with the Bubble (Kitbash) outfit.
• The Magma Wrap looks different than intended.
• We're working on a fix for an issue where players who gift the Battle Pass are not receiving the gift wrap.

Creative

• A red wireframe sphere may appear around Pet's pins after some actions. This is just a visual effect.

Save the World

• The option to increase rarity is missing from the upgrade menu when viewing the Nightfall Epic schematic.
• ➤ Players may be shown several blocked hexes in the Hexsylvania zone. They must be hidden by the storm.
