According to Dr. Sloan, the last time Kevin appeared, the entire island was on the brink of destruction. Also, this could mean that Kevin has an important role to play before Fortnite Chapter XNUMX ends.

Fortnite update release date 18.00

Fortnite 18.00 is scheduled to go live on September 13, 2021, the official launch date for Season 2 Fortnite Chapter 2.

Since this is the first update of the new season, players can expect Fortnite's server downtime to be slightly longer than the regular patch.

Update size

Fortnite update sizes vary from platform to platform. And for some reason they tend to differ between devices.

Fortnite Squad

There are no expected changes in Fortnite Squad as the September update was already published at the beginning of the month.

New cosmetics

Fortnite players can look forward to a host of new cosmetic items with the latest Battle Pass for Chapter 2 Season 8, as well as a new starter pack that brings D'Arc to the in-game item shop.

At the start of Week 14 of Season 17, there was news that Naruto would be in the Season 8 Battle Pass.

The news was denied by Donald Mustard, chief creative officer of Fortnite, saying that it was not true.

However, he confirmed that Naruto would indeed be coming in Season 8.

The skin will most likely arrive as some kind of bundle in the game store.

Weekly Challenges

A new set of Weekly Challenges is due to arrive with Fortnite 18.00pm, the first Legendary and Epic Quests of Season 8.

If they follow the same release schedule as Season 7, players can expect Legendary quests to start on this Wednesday and Epic quests on Thursday.

Map changes

Players can expect major map changes in the Fortnite 18.00 update given that this is the start of a new season.

Rumors point to the pyramids as well as the crashed alien mothership from Season 17.

The files are preparing a new location "Rocky Ridge" (no translation yet!) In case the game crashes after Operation Skyfire .
