Season 24.00 of Fortnite Chapter 2 is almost here and should be another major change to the ongoing battle royale. Here's everything we're expecting to see in Fortnite v4, plus Chapter XNUMX Season XNUMX Early Patch Notes.

Chapter 4 of Fortnite kicked off with one of the game's biggest updates to date. Players have been thrilled with new mechanics such as reality enhancement perks and major crossovers with franchises such as The Witcher and My Hero Academia.

But the next major update is right around the corner, and Fortnite Chapter Season 4 should be another huge step forward for Epic's popular BR.

So let's take a look at everything we know about Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4, including the early patch notes for the v24.00 update.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Start Date and Server Downtime

Epic Games has confirmed that the second season of Fortnite Chapter 4 titled MEGA will begin on Friday, March 10, 2023.

The developers have also announced that the downtime before the update is complete will start at 10:00 Moscow time, 2:00 AM ET, 23:00 PM PT, 7:00 AM GMT March 10., and is expected to last one to two hours.

During this time, the servers will be down and you won't be able to access Fortnite until the new season starts.

Fortnite first person mode

While the developers have yet to officially reveal what's coming in the Fortnite v24.00 update, leaks have shown that the long-awaited first-person mode could be coming. It's unclear if this will be an LTM or a long-term expansion, but fans will be eager to experience Fortnite in a completely different way.

Rumors of a first-person mode first surfaced back in 2020 when HYPEX stated that the feature was in development. Then a glitch at the start of Chapter 4 seemed to show what that mode might look like.

Now, if the leaks are to be believed, it seems the wait is finally over, with Fortnite first-person coming to Chapter 4 Season XNUMX.

Secret” skin - Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan in Fortnite

Fortnite is well known for its crossovers, and it looks like the groundbreaking Attack on Titan anime will be a major collaboration in season two. After the inclusion of Geralt last season, HYPEX and Shiina stated that AoT's Eren Yeager would be a secret skin in the new battle pass.

Players can also look forward to a host of Attack on Titan-themed cosmetic items to accompany Eren, including an emote, emoji, pickaxe, weapon wrap, and other pages yet to be revealed.

The AoT crossover fits in nicely with this season's theme, which seems to draw inspiration from Japanese culture in many of its skins and locations.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 Skins

Plenty of other skins set to appear in Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 4 have also been leaked ahead of time. Among them 'Thunder' the lizard featured in the graffiti included in the rewards for the "Encryption" quest from the first season.

Shiina also stated that two new Star Wars characters would debut after the update. While they couldn't confirm which heroes or villains they would be from the popular franchise, fans have speculated that Emperor Palpatine, Darth Maul, or Anakin Skywalker could be the most likely candidates.

Wall running in fortnite

Dataminers also often find information about a new mechanic - wall running.

This feature will work like this:

  • To run on a wall, start running on the floor, then press "Jump" next to the wall.
  • The distance you run on the wall depends on your speed.
  • The distance you jump after wall running also depends on your speed.

New Dojo Location and Return of Chinatown

After the 23.30 update, bamboo thickets were discovered in Fortnite, which, as it turned out, was not intended for an empty place, but for a specific location - the Dojo and Chinatown.

Dojo is already in the files, and dataminers are happy to share their find:

And Chinatown has been known to players since Chapter 1.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 Bug Fixes

In addition to all the new content coming with Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, the v24.00 update also brings a number of key bug fixes. The developers haven't revealed exactly what it will be, but players can get a good idea by taking a look at the official Trello team board.

Check out all the issues expected to be fixed in Chapter 4 Season XNUMX below:

General

  • Exiles Emblem Wrap looks yellow.
  • Some of the outfits, including the Jonesy Ranger, look shiny and shiny.
  • The Kiss the Cup emote has the wrong sound.

Battle Royale & Zero Build

  • The llama school banners are missing/grayed out.
  • Pili mining can lead to treasures in inaccessible areas.
  • Falcon Scout links.
