The Fortnite 20.10 update for Chapter 2 Season 3 is out today, so let's take a look at some of the changes coming with the patch.
Fortnite is getting a brand new update in Chapter 3 Season 2 that looks set to bring a ton of new content to the game, capitalizing on the success of the season's launch.
Fortnite has received a lot of praise lately, mostly for its bold move to remove building from the game with the launch of Season 2, which has surprisingly brought many players back into battle royale.
The success even forced the developers to introduce a permanent new mode Zero Buildthat the players enjoyed. Now they want to make the experience smoother with a new update that is meant to address some of the issues reported by players.
Here's a breakdown of everything to look forward to in the Fortnite 20.20 update:
Fortnite update release date 20.10
Update Fortnite 20.10 planned to be released on Tuesday, April 5, в 1:00 AM PT/4:00 AM ET and 11: 00 mcc.
The servers will be shut down approximately 30 minutes prior to this time to clear all necessary preparations.
Assassin's Creed skins in Fortnite
In March 2022, Epic Games added Assassin's Creed 2 protagonist Ezio Auditore to their ever-growing list of Fortnite skins. However, it was only available to those who purchased Assassin's Creed Valhalla on the Epic Games Store.
Now, they are also rumored to be adding a skin for Eivor Varinsdottir, the main character in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, in the Fortnite 20.10 update. iFireMonkey announced that it will arrive in the Item Shop in Friday, April 8.
New single barrel shotgun
March 23 HYPEX also revealed some details about the new shotgun.
Its replacement name is the Single Barrel Shotgun, and as the name suggests, it only fires one bullet at a time before firing again, but it packs a punch.
HYPEX also noticed the new shotgun in the new lobby screen, added to the game ahead of schedule, adding more content to the statement.
There will most likely be other weapons in the update as well, so keep an eye out for that one.

- Bushrangers Shed Excessively After Gliding
- End of Matching UI is sometimes missing from the screen
- Opening the map or quests while using split screen causes the 2nd player view to turn black
- Leaving the boat on dry land during recovery can cause the controllers to vibrate
Top Creative Fortnite Questions
- Some elements are missing Guard tags in Creative.
- Joining an unfinished creative game may ban a new player until the round ends
- Cannot control the ATV while flying
- Further creative mode issues with:
- Vending machines
- Tracking device
- Play counter device
- Dialog popup device
- Spawn Pads
Fortnite Save the World Major Issues
- Destroyed beds do not count towards the quest
- Map/Lobby in STW sometimes looks very bright
- Storm Shield bases reset after leaving
- Installing a BluGlo siphon may cause malfunctions (only in performance mode)
- Wolves and Predators Lack Combat Passives
- Players cannot redo repeatable quests after they have been completed
While not all of the above issues will be fixed in the 20.10 update, it gives us a good, early idea of what fixes the update will bring.
