What will be in the Genshin Impact version 2.5 update?
Yae Miko finally added as a playable character
Yae Miko is the only new character in Genshin Impact in version 2.5.
Grand Shrine Chief Priestess Narukami has been a major part of Inazuma's storyline so far, and Genshin Impact players will now be able to obtain Yae Miko to your team.
She joins the character roster as a five-star electrocatalyst user - with great synergy with Raiden. Her Elemental Skill allows her to run around the battlefield, leaving behind totems that can be activated with her elemental blast for high damage.
Yae Miko also receives a separate story quest in Genshin Impact to accompany her release, as well as a special five-star weapon - The Truth of Kagura — in a banner next to her own.

Two repeat banners: Kokomi and Shogun Raiden
Missed Kokomi for the first time? The leader of the Sangonomiya clan is getting a relaunch in version 2.5.
While Yae Miko will have his solo banner throughout Phase 1, there will be two reruns in the second half of version 2.5: Kokomi и Shogun Raiden.
It's been a few months since they were first released - both hit the live servers in September 2021 - and with a storyline revolving around them, it makes sense to bring the duo back.
Learn more about replay banners kokomi and Raiden Shogun will be released closer to the 2.5 launch date.
New weekly boss fight with Shogun Raiden
Raiden Shogun will be the new weekly boss in version 2.5.
Shogun Raiden will get his own boss arena in Genshin Impact 2.5, and the as-yet-unreleased Kamisato Ayato and Yae Miko are rumored to be using her items to ascend.
Unlike her previous encounter, Shogun Raiden can be seen hovering above the ground in a mechanical suit, which she uses to wield her Musou no Hitotachi. At one point, A even uses his "Eye of Stormy Judgment" to unleash a giant katana that cuts through everything on screen.
While the quest fight in Shogun Raiden's story has proven challenging for many Genshin players, this new weekly boss looks to further increase her lethality.
And if that wasn't enough for Shogun Raiden, she's also getting Act 2.5 for her story quest Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter in version XNUMX.
New Enemies Grim Shell
There are three types of enemies Grim Shellcoming to Genshin Impact.
Three new enemies are being added to Genshin Impact. Named after the Shadowy Husk archetype, there will be three different types: Bannermen, Linebreakers and Defenders.
They wield different elements - Pyro, Hydro and Cryo - and have different weapons and abilities.
New Grimshell enemies are being added to Encanomia, but may appear in different parts of Teyvat in the future.
Events of Divine Ingenuity
Players will deal with custom Domains created by others in the Divine Ingenuity event.
Four events will be available to players in Genshin Impact Version 2.5, the two largest of which are Gateway Three Worlds and Divine Ingenuity.
In Three Realms Gateway Offering, players will have to explore a new part of Encanomia while battling a devastating fog that is weakening their powers. However, by keeping your Bokuso Box charged and making offerings, you can purify it.
The Divine Ingenuity event has been leaked in some capacity ahead of the update and players will create their own domains to share with others. Players will be able to use trampolines, set traps, use platforms to apply elements, wind fields and other obstacles.
Several smaller events, including a replay of the Hyakunin Ikki Team Tournament, are also expected in version 2.5.
