League of Legends Update 10.19 - Aphelios and Silas Buffs, Udyr Changes

League of Legends Update 10.19, commonly known as the World Championship update, is finally in development ahead of the biggest competitive LoL tournament of the year planned - here are all the planned changes coming September 15th.

Few LoL updates are more "hype" than 10.19. Each year, this September update defines the World Cup meta for the next six weeks of international professional play.

Because of this, Riot developer Mark Yetter warned that the overall changes would be "rather small" compared to regular patches. Developers don't want to make mistakes so close to the big event. To be honest, we think that's pretty fair.

⁠ However, LoL Patch 10.19 still has some pretty interesting changes. In fact, even with Yetter's warning, eight more champions need to be buffed and another six are in line for some balancing nerfs.

League Update 10.19: All buffs and nerfs

The main headliners expecting some power cuts are professional players like Twisted Fate, Azir, Caitlyn and Senna. The last of the four, the Liberator, will only have her ADC powers cut in half to bring her back into support.

These four pro-picked champions will also be joined in the nerf grid by AD rogue assassin Talon and jungler Nunu and Vellump.

The dual champion has been reigning supreme in the solo queue for some time now; According to Lolalytics , their winning percentage is 53,11 %, and the selection ratio is 5,7%.

On the other hand, in League Patch 10.19, a few potential picks that could return to the pro scene during the World Championships also got a little help.

Prominent are Sivir, Aphelios, Silas and Irelia. all of them have played a lot in the competitive LoL scene over the years. LoL poster girl Ahri will also get an "extra buff" after overhaul update 10.18 , most likely to tweak it a bit.

Riot starts working with Udyr at 19.10/XNUMX.

Finally, the long forgotten jungler Udyr also finally got some buffs in LoL patch 10.19. These planned changes will target his Phoenix form, although Riot has yet to confirm the numbers.

Earlier this month, Yetter asked fans of Udyr, what they hope to see from a potential VGU update for the champion. These small balance improvements can be tested before a major overhaul of the Spirit Walker.

"I think I prefer to improve the core because Udyr brings a very unique pure melee style to the game," Yetter added of Udyr's potential changes.

We're not sure if the previous easings have been able to end Caitlyn's dominance. We don't want to wring the Sheriff's hands any more, but it seems we can't do without it: otherwise, the most important tournament will be remembered for the lack of diversity in the bottom lane.
