League of Legends Update 12.20: Rammus buffs, Atrx nerfs, Blitzcrank adjustments and more
Patch League of Legends 12.20 due next week. Riot Games will be looking to make quite a few changes to the champion meta as the game slowly approaches its preseason.
The developers have given fans a little glimpse of the patch preview, which highlights some of the champions expected to receive changes in the upcoming update.
Some of the biggest highlights of the upcoming update are the buffs that will be making their way to Rammus, as well as the nerfs coming to Aatrox.
Riot Phroxzon stated in a recent tweet:
“Patch 12.20! Rammus' buff because he's been down a lot since changing how his W is calculated. Small buffs to others on the list. Changes to Blitz JG is a buff but needs a decent tap to Supp. Aatrox is still too strong after the Eclipse changes, so he's pushing him."
Additionally, there will be quite a few changes to other champions as the League of Legends developers look to make more tweaks to the existing champion meta.

The main changes in the patch will be the Rammus buff and Blitzcrank balancing. The mechanics of both champions were partially reworked in the last update. The first had a drop in win percentage due to a change in the formula for calculating W, and the second had ceased to be popular in the support role due to the buff in the jungle.
