LoL Update 11.2 - Senna and Soraka buffs, Viego Release, and more.
With the start of League of Legends Season 11, Riot is still finalizing the pre-season. The 11.2 league patch will bring more changes to healing, while champions like Senna and Soraka are getting compensatory buffs. Viego is also preparing for release.
Rating queues for League season 11 fill up players as the grind starts in 2021. However, Riot is still struggling to cope with this year's mega preseason, with over half of the items changed in the game, as well as numerous champion rebalances.
Some feel good after the change - especially those who have a huge amount of healing in the set. However, others lost their identity around the new mythic. However, Riot is aware of this, and in update 11.2 they are going to make some changes to rebalance the game.
Viego release in update 11.2
We have a big new release coming up. Viego, the Fallen King, is due out in League patch 11.2. It's already available for testing on the PBE, and the jungler is already taking players by surprise.
With the Pseudo Assassin set, he will be a huge threat. Hiding in the shadows and controlling the magic draining the Shadow Isles, you can expect Viego to completely wipe out enemy teams. You can find more information about his release here .
Weakening tanks like Aatrox and Olaf. Patch 11.2 nerfs.
Lead Gameplay Designer Mark "Scruffy" Yetter в in a tweet dated January 7 talked about the changes which players are waiting for in patch 11.2. The most important rank change was the reduction in healing. Despite the buffs for Grievous Wounds, drain tanks are still destroying the meta .
These "healing cases" like Aatrox and Olaf are only part of the League's healing problem. Riot is also looking at the overall healing reduction across the board, especially the Domination Ravenous Hunter rune. Rune is getting a scaling nerf with reduced healing per stack.
On the other hand, sorcerer supports are very popular. Soraka and Senna boost their healing abilities to be more relevant.

Senna in buff queue due to item rework nerfs
Some champions have received just the perfect item for their equipment in overhaul Mythic item in preseason 11. However, some champions have lost their identity - especially those who relied on Glacial Augment.
Senna is one of those champions, but Riot is taking care of her with the healing change mentioned above. One of her main items will drop in price.
Tanks are also undergoing epochal changes. With the Sunfire Aegis still dominating the meta, Yetter wants to give tanks a choice in all roles. Frostfire Gauntlet and Turbo Chemtank get buffs, acting as cheaper options for the full version of Sunfire.
Azir, Varus, Caitlyn, LeBlanc, Nocturne, Shaco, Trundle, and Dr. Mundo are all set to buff this patch on top of item changes.
Eliza, Darius, Nunu, Maokai and Akali are also on the nerf list. League patch 11.2 will be released on 21 January . You can find the early patch notes below, courtesy of Surrender@20 .
