Minecraft Nether Update - How to Use the Soul Speed Enchantment
If you've been playing Minecraft for a while, you may be familiar with the terms Nether and Nether. The Overworld is the main area you play in, while the Nether is another dimension that allows players to quickly travel to another area of the Overworld through Nether portals, among other things. Previously, players could use the Nether to travel to the Overworld location eight times faster than normal. However, with Soul Speed Enchantment, players can unlock even faster world travel.

- ♦The new enchantment can only be obtained by bartering with a piglin.
- ♦Available for boots only.
- ♦ Allows you to move faster on Soul Sand and Soul Soil. However, boots' durability has a 4% chance to be spent on each block of soul sand or soul soil that the player steps on.
- ♦Cannot be obtained through the enchantment table, trading, can not be found in chests in treasuries or any other structures.
Basically, thanks to the Minecraft Nether update, players can now use the Soul Speed Enchantment to travel through the Nether more than ten times faster. Unfortunately, the enchantments are a little tricky to find, as they can only be found by raiding Bastion Remains or trading with Piglins. Also, once you get the enchantment, you will need to put some Soul Sand or Soul Soil into your Nether Tunnel between your Portals. Once you have enchantments and sand/soil, you will be able to travel 10 times faster than before.
It's also worth mentioning that sandy soil and soul soil can be a little tricky compared to regular sand or rocks. However, if you travel a lot, it's probably worth taking the time to find soil. It is also worth mentioning that traveling on it will cause damage to your boots, so you should keep that in mind. However, once you have everything set up, it will be nice to be able to travel around the world faster thanks to the Minecraft Nether update.
If you don't feel like working on your tunnels right now, there's still plenty to do in Minecraft. This game is known for empowering its players, so there are plenty of things to craft, places to explore, and places to loot.
