Modern Warfare Update Adds Warzone Duos & 2XP Weekends
In their May 29th playlist update, Infinity Ward has finally added Duos, the long-awaited fan favorite mode, to Call of Duty: Warzone as part of the big 2XP Modern Warfare promo weekend.
Back in April, IW added Duos to Warzone, but only in a cash-based heist mode. At this point, Raven Software's creative director, Amos Hodge, pointed out that a tandem-based variant will eventually be added, but there are "some bugs to work out".
Well, it looks like those bugs have been ironed out, as Duos is finally here - a long month and thousands of Twitter requests, and that will be followed by a nice Double XP weekend.
XP Promotion includes Double XP, Double Weapon XP and 2X Tier Progression in Multiplayer and Battle Royale up to tuesday, 2 June. This is certainly good news, but not as exciting as the addition of Duos.

For now, players will be happy to get into Duos by doubling their XP, but fans will be interested to hear about the future persistence of Warzone playlists and upcoming changes in Season 4.
