Teamfight Tactics Update 10.17: Riven Buff, Shaco Nerfs, and Jarvan IV
TFT Update 10.17 is out now! With 3 Set ending in just a few weeks and a good meta, Riot doesn't mess with things too much. However, there will be some small changes for Gangplank, Master Yi and others.
It goes without saying that Riot is confident about how balanced TFT Galaxies Set 3 is currently. There have been virtually no meta-defining changes in the last few patches. Patch 10.17 continues this tradition.
To the players' concerns about possible transition to meta-hyperbole after patch 10.16 the developers responded calmly. Now that Riot is nearing the finish line in Set 3, there's nothing to worry about.
So we pushed the 10.17 updates a little earlier than planned, change notes coming soon!

However, there are still some fine adjustments that can be made. Gangplank, Master Yi and Niko, as well as Cassiopeia and Zerat, are expecting some nerfs. Dark Star also received a few nerfs.
Minor nerfs for Master Yi, Gangplank, etc.
If you were hoping for a major meta shake-up after seeing Dark Stars or Mechs nerfed to the ground, you will probably be bitterly disappointed with these changes. Five champions take damage from nerfs: Niko, Master Yi, Shaco, Jarvan IV, and Gangplank.
Niko, Master Yi, and Gangplank will have their ability damage reduced. Damage dealt by Niko at three stars is reduced after buffs in patch 10.16 , and loses real damage at two stars, and Gangplank is weakened by one and two stars.
Shaco and Jarvan IV lose some resistance to make killing Darkstar units easier. The sniper, like hell, also loses - but this is very insignificant. The trait loses 1% damage per hex (up to 9%) on two units and 2% (up to 16%) on four units.
Cassiopeia, Riven improved in TFT 10.17 patch
The latest patch brought literally dozens of buffs to champions and traits. In this patch, there are noticeably fewer of them - only five. Cassiopeia, Riven, Poppy, Blitzcrank, and Xerath are on the Riot hitlist in 10.18 for buffs.
Cassiopeia and Xerath receive increased damage from their abilities - Cassiopeia at three-star level, and Zerat at one- and two-star levels. This is really a small difference for Battlecast and Dark Star players and nothing to worry about.
Poppy, Blitzcrank and Riven increase their survivability through additional health and resistances.
