Fortnite Update 14.50 Description - Release Date, Server Downtime

Now that the Fortnite Nightmares are coming to a close, it looks like things will be back to normal in Fortnite with the V14-50 update.
We know that Galactus is making his way into our world, so expect new insanity to begin in the game. I didn't expect things to get too hectic in this patch, but we'll be getting closer to a big event of the season in the near future, so keep an eye out for any signs that will give you clues as to what's to come!
While Epic doesn't give out full notes, content creators are being sent general information about what you can expect from the update. The material will be available in this post as soon as it is sent out. This usually gives us a pretty good idea of the main parts of the update. However, many small changes have been added, and this is what we will talk about.
Date and time the update was released
Fortnite Season Patch 14.50 officially announced and will be released November 3rd! This should be a relatively normal patch and will most likely be more about removing a lot of Halloween stuff that has been added to the game.
Server downtime
The downtime for this Fortnite update will start at 4am ET (08 UTC), and you can expect it a couple of hours before the patch's official release. It rarely lasts longer than two hours, so you won't be left without a game for too long.

The official update that Epic is sending to creators has been released! Looks like you can expect jetpacks to come into the game in this patch. There's also the Lachlan Pickaxe Frenzy Tournament, and the game is in the making for next-gen consoles. There are also several new challenges to complete in order to complete your Battle Pass!

Here we will detail all the updates and changes that have been added to the game and have not been covered by Epic.
Unconfirmed Assumptions
I will be collecting some leaks and details from previous patches that may be in the game during this update. I mentioned them based on how likely they are to be part of the patch!
Confirmed: Iron Man's jetpack
Some jetpack sound effect files were located in the files after the 14.40 update, so it's possible that this item will end up in the game as some kind of myth. Now that we've lost the broomstick, another item might come in handy that can take you to the sky!

Nectar Bazooka (Slurp Bazooka)
The Slurp Bazooka, similar to the infamous Bandage Bazooka, is expected to be added in the Fortnite v14.50 update. The new heavy weapon was fused by HYPEX shortly after the release of version 14.40 in October and appears to be ready for release in the game.
The new bazooka will most likely perform just like its Bandage cousin. The Nectar Bazooka will likely activate Fortnite's iconic Slurp Juice Juice, which heals one health point every 0,5 seconds, up to a total of 75. The Bazooka can just heal.
The main difference is that Slurp also worked on shields, where Bandages only restore health. The same goes for the bazooka. The new gadget will probably also take up a few weapon slots, just like the Bandage Bazooka.
Possibly: a new currency?
Perhaps the game will be added some then the new currency . It was added to the loot pool in a previous update and is referred to as "WAD" in the files. Here's a look at what denominations it will be available in:
- ➤Small stash: 25
- ➤Average supply: 100
- ➤Large Stash: 250
- ➤Safe: 500
Possibly a fire extinguisher
A fire extinguisher was discovered in the files, which may become a new item in the game. Maybe it could only be for Creative, but it would be interesting to see what Epic does with it if they add it to Battle Royale. Little is known about him at present.
Possibly: Mushroom NPC
There have been leaks of information about new NPC , based on mushrooms , which will appear on the map and possibly give you quests to complete. These were quite deep leaks, and they also pointed to snowman , which is likely to be used in the winter updates of the game. Basically what was found was a text string, sound files, and some character outlines. Some of the in-game challenges you can complete during a match can be quite interesting, so we hope to have more details about them soon.
Possibly Mystic Boss
We are still waiting for the Mystic to appear in the game. We're pretty deep into the season already, so if she's going to be making an appearance as a boss, chances are it will be soon.
A leak in the game has revealed that Mystique will have an epochal weapon, which will be a dual autopistol. Similar to the MAC10 but pistol shaped. It will be something different that we have not seen in the game. We've seen twin pistols before, but automatic twin pistols would be something else. They could make a decent replacement for your SMG if you want to try something different in that slot of your gear. A gun-wielding Mystique would make some sense, as her superpowers probably don't match the best abilities of some other superheroes.
According to leaked statistics, it takes 3,1 seconds to reload, has a magazine size of 40, and deals 20 damage to the player.
Bug fixes in Fortnite 14.50 update
They were taken from Trello, which map everything Epic is working on in terms of bugs.
Battle royale issues
- Due to an issue, gas canisters have been temporarily disabled in all game modes.
- We are investigating an issue where the "Cozy Chomps" and "Ravage" skins appear as Ramirez in the lobby and during the match.
- ➤THWIP! Legacy is not awarded after fulfilling its requirements (immediately eliminate the enemy by pulling him out of the harpoon gun in season 4).
creative problems
- The vehicle may continue to move unnaturally and shake after leaving The Baller.
- ➤The Create server has a "Back to Hub" option, but NOT the game server. The back-to-hub rift on the island doesn't work either.
Save the world
- We are investigating various reports of weapons and their abilities not functioning properly after the 14.30 update.
- Taking damage from a storm will cancel the placement of the hoverboard. This makes it harder to get out of the storm when playing a class with low mobility.
- Players may find that the game is unresponsive or freezes after opening the Loot Llama in Save the World, and then immediately after opening the settings menu.
Mobile problems
- We are investigating an issue that causes audio to lag or cut out for players on Nintendo Switch.
