DATE AND TIME OF THE PATCH RELEASE

Fortnite patch 12.41 was officially announced and will air on Tuesday, April 21! You can expect a couple of hours of downtime after adding it to the game.

Travis Scott Astronomical

This patch will likely include all of Travis Scott's material, which will be part of the in-game Astronomy Concert, which will also feature the world premiere of the new track. There will be cosmetics that you can earn by attending the event, completing tasks, as well as buying them from the item shop. Will be added to the game Travis Scott skin, which will likely hit the store on April 21st. Here's a look at some of the cosmetic items that will be available:

New Time-Limited Arsenic Mode

The mega-popular game mode, often referred to as "Contagion" by developers and players, looks like it's finally making its way into Fortnite's v12.41 patch. Inspired by classic Halo and Call of Duty playlists, it's sure to become a fan favorite.

Fortnite Insider FortTory has already revealed the new Arsenic playlist added to the game files . It also features new abilities not seen before in Fortnite, such as "Growl", which is meant for zombies, and "Double Jump".

The new LTM is expected to see infected players with unlimited lives and unique abilities - such as those listed above - hunting down survivors. In these playlists, the survivors are often armed with weapons while the infected use melee attacks.

New weapon

LTMs and crossovers are cool, but what good Fortnite patch wouldn't be complete without a few new weapons? This time it looks like we should get a new shotgun as well as dual silenced pistols , according to version 12.40 leaks .

Pistols seem to be an earlier twin concept. This time, most likely, they will become exclusive spy toys. According to Fortnite Wiki , upgraded silenced pistols can be found in Rare, Epic, and Legendary variants.

However, a shotgun leak might be more interesting. It will reportedly be a kind of "loaded" weapon. This means that he will probably do more damage if you pull the trigger. There hasn't been a single photo of him yet.

- Headshot Multiplier/pellet might be: x1.5

FORTNITE 12.41 PATCH BUG FIXES

Here are the bug fixes for patch 12.41. They were taken from Trello and map all the stuff Epic is working on in terms of errors.

Common

♦Reports about server performance issues.
♦X-Force Gear Bundle price fixed.
♦Chimichanga! Emote cost fixed.
♦Reports FPS drops since v12.00.
♦Midas' Golden Touch does not change gold items.
♦Midas' "Golden Touch" appears in low-res on weapon wraps.

♦The user interface disappears when you cancel Ready Up while browsing.
♦The Assist for Missions party is temporarily unavailable.
♦Unable to make a match when Splitscreen'd after trying to join Creative.
♦Split Screen: The game freezes when exiting a party.
♦Replays are not saved.
♦The hit indicators show the wrong direction.
♦Increased sniper rifle mismatch.
♦The quest "Deal Damage with an Umbrella" does not track progress.
♦Local calls do not appear when entering a new area.
♦The grenade is temporarily disabled.
♦Crash when adding a Splitscreen player during a party.

These are the top common questions posted on Trello. While the 12.41 update seems to address many of these minor bugs, remember that only a few of them are likely to be fully fixed.
