WEAPONS AND ITEMS

      • Returned the former explosion radius of rockets.
        • In the August 22nd update, we reduced the explosion radius by 42%. This adjustment turned out to be excessive: it became too difficult for the BRUTE to hit the target with fewer missiles and reduced mobility. Therefore, on August 23, we returned the previous explosion radius (in the main modes). We will continue to monitor B.R.U.T.E. related changes to ensure they do not conflict with our plans.
          • Starting with version 10.20, these changes took effect in arena mode and tournaments.
      • Haste cooldown slowed down from 3 to 5 seconds.
      • Jump speed from using air boost reduced by 33%.
      • Changed the spawn rate for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd phases of the Storm in the main game modes.
        • Note: This change does not affect Arena Mode or Tournaments. Values ​​are listed in the update description 10.10.

Corrected mistakes
  • Fixed a bug due to which the Junk Rift did not destroy the B.R.U.T.E. on collision.

  • Fixed a bug that allowed throwing Vigorous Bombs faster than expected.
  • Fixed a short-term decrease in the accuracy of a combat rifle that occurred when a player drew a rifle instead of a weapon designed for aimed fire (for example, a sniper rifle).
  • Shockwaves now properly affect horde monsters.
  • Fixed an issue where the Minor Shield Potion would not increase the player's shield to 50 when it was at 49.

GAME PROCESS

  • Pandora
    • The rift beacon located in the oasis next to Lush Palms has created the Pandora Rift region.
      • It is part of the Fortnite x Pandora co-promotion.

  • Moving Storm

Corrected mistakes
  • When a B.R.U.T.E. player enters a rift in Mining Village, the filter no longer stays on screen, and exiting the rift does not keep the building ban.
  • When the player is ejected from the B.R.U.T.E., they are no longer in a critically wounded state that can walk and run, but the player cannot be revived.
  • Fixed a bug due to which Horde monsters did not attack players in B.R.U.T.E.
  • Dealing damage to BRUTE no longer counts as minimum damage when empowering Tempest.
  • Junk Rift no longer damages players in indestructible buildings.
  • Destroying a chest or ammo crate by destroying the object it's on now causes it to open.

GRAPHICS AND ANIMATION

Corrected mistakes
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Tanuki's left arm to clip through multiple backpacks in the lobby while idle.
  • The MC outfit and Equalizer skin now animate properly on PlayStation 4.
  • When a player enters a B.R.U.T.E. in the Mining Village rift area and then leaves the B.R.U.T.A.E. while in the B.R.U.T.E.

SOUND

  • The shape of the area in which the sounds of the trash rift fade away has been changed - now it is not a sphere, but a capsule.
    • Now the appearance of objects from the junk rift at a height will be accompanied by a louder sound effect.
  • Reduced the volume of the minigun's overheating sound effects.
Corrected mistakes
  • The sound of removing the pin from a grenade no longer plays when it is thrown.
  • The battle bus audio no longer plays in the wrong location on the starting island.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the sounds of the appearance of Junk Rift objects were not played when a flying projectile hit the player.

INTERFACE

Corrected mistakes
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from seeing Challenges when they first logged into the game during Season Ten.
  • The B.R.U.T.A. Gunner Mode control UI no longer shows the wrong layout for players with a controller.
  • Fixed an issue where the player icon would not update properly when the player had a random gear selection set in the locker.
  • A rounding error no longer occurs for health and shield bars after using bandages or a small protective potion.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the incorrect number of players in the team was displayed on the social panel.

REPEAT SYSTEM

  • Local replays now use the server replay and broadcast replay interface.
  • After killing a player in a replay, the camera will now switch to their teammates or the player who killed them.
  • The elements in the replay management interface have been streamlined and slightly changed.
    • In particular, the button that opened the list of players has been removed. You can open this list from the map screen.
  • On August 20, we disabled streaming server replays on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to improve game stability and address performance issues.
Corrected mistakes
  • Fixed a bug due to which some small objects of the Junk Rift that fell to the ground did not disappear during the rewind of the replay.
  • Dropped Junk Rift objects are no longer duplicated during replays.
  • Junk Rift objects falling to the ground during replays no longer spawn other objects.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the sound effects of the Junk Rift were not played during replays.

MOBILE VERSION

  • The iOS version now optimizes game assets the first time you launch the game after installing an update. This will reduce the number of jerks and speed up loading when the player is waiting for the battle bus to depart.
  • On iPhone 8, you can again play at 60 frames per second.
  • Updated the images that appear on the screen during a game update.
Corrected mistakes
  • Game list tiles, New tiles, and event page tiles now display the correct images.
  • Fixed interaction errors between characters and some cosmetic items.
  • Fixed audio issue when using BRUTE on Android version.
