Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Open Beta and Pre-Order Bonuses
New data leaks for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War reveal evidence of an open beta, as well as possible pre-order bonuses that could be packaged with the blockbuster's release.
Leaks first reported CODTracker , reveal more information about the next entry in the Black Ops sub-series, including mention of a battle pass that will be part of the yet-to-be-announced season structure for content.
The data suggests that players who pre-order Black Ops Cold War will get early access to the open beta, similar to Activision's release for Modern Warfare back in 2019.
As with any leak, the details or information included in it are subject to change once the developers actually get a chance to announce their intentions.

The Open Beta will allow Call of Duty players who pre-purchase the upcoming game to experience this year's title before anyone else.
While the new information doesn't specify if this will be campaign or multiplayer early access, it could be the same as MW 2019, which featured a little action taster.
The open beta testing of Modern Warfare consisted of several stages. The initial playtest was intended for streamers and the media, with wider releases later featuring pre-purchased owners of the game.
It's unclear if Treyarch will follow a similar format this time around, but if the leaks turn out to be real, at least the general public will have a chance to get into the game before the holiday window.

In addition, the leaks have detailed pre-order bonuses such as the 'Versus Weapon Pack', the 'Land, Sea and Air Pack', and the Season 1 Battle Pass Pack.
The insider also revealed the Modern Warfare and Warzone Forest Operative Pack.
There are a lot of questions about the upcoming game, and fans are looking forward to the official announcement of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. premiere which will take place in Warzone on August 26 .
