The holiday season is in full swing with Christmas trees all over the world lit up, the space below slowly filling up with small gifts from all around.
However, if you are an Overwatch player, then you can get one gift that cannot be placed under a tree, but will certainly bring you a lot of joy.
As part of our gratitude for our players, the Overwatch team decided to distribute a Christmas cheer at the end of 2019, giving players five loot boxes in a festive package with a bow on top.
“We would like to thank all the heroes of Overwatch around the world for promoting our shooter, defending the point and helping us celebrate the holidays,” the Dec. 24 tweet read.
Claiming loot boxes is very easy. All you have to do is log in to Overwatch before the end of the Winter's Tale event, which runs until January 2nd, and get five free loot boxes.
You'll have to open the event before January 2nd to receive the event bonuses, so be sure to take a look inside once you've received your gift. If you wait longer, there is a chance they will turn into regular loot boxes without any special Christmas gear.
You can put your credits to good use by picking up one of the new Christmas skins like Rat King Reaper or Rime Sigma.
