What is Detroit: Become Human?
Last game from Quantic Dream-masters of the genre is an offshoot of titles such as Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. Detroit: Become Human originally debuted in 2018 as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, but will soon be available to PC owners.
Detroit: Become Human about?
The game takes place in the near future in Detroit, Michigan. Outwardly indistinguishable from humans, androids have become a common commodity and are used for the most difficult jobs, home help, child care, or ... avenging disappointment. Under mysterious circumstances, some of them become shy, leading to a rebellion against humans. We watch the rise of the resistance from three perspectives - Kara and Markus, two housekeepers, Connor, a police android hunting bandits.
Gameplay Detroit: Become Human
Like many other adventure story games, this one is primarily based on dialogue, decision making, and quick events. Detroit stands out for the huge amount of freedom given to players in terms of story formation - not only our decisions, but even performance in arcade sequences can change drastically over the course of the story, or even end prematurely for some of the main characters.
