What is MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries?
Another part of the classic series of mecha simulators, whose history began in 1989. The most popular cycle was used in the nineties, subsequently disappearing for many years from the calendar, only to return in 2013 thanks to the online game MechWarrior Online. MW 5: Mercenaries was created by Piranha Games, which has held the rights to the MechWarrior franchise since 2011.
How does the gameplay in MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries look like?
While the title focuses on futuristic mech combat in fictional realities, the difficulty level is reminiscent of simulating real vehicles and quite effectively reproduces the feeling of sitting at the helm of a large robot. The main point of the game is the campaign, in which we control a mercenary, freely choosing targets from different sides of the conflict, guided mainly by money. By destroying specialized objects on the battlefields, we get money that we can invest in repairing and modifying mechs or buying completely new machines. Over time, we will hire other pilots, and in addition to personally participating in combat, we will also manage their operations and the finances of our growing company.
