Dust Memory Genshin Impact – Catalyst stats and who is best suited

Officials from Genshin Impact have uploaded a new weapon banner, also called Deity incarnation for Phase II of the current patch 2.7. Redhorn Stonepicker and Memory of Dust will be featured in weapon banners.

Catalyst Memory of dust provides higher stats due to its 5-star rarity and has an insane passive but requires certain candidates to activate itself. Here is a summary of the basic stats Memory of dust:

• Base ATK at level 1: 46
• Base Substance at Level 1: 10,8% ATK%
• Base ATK at level 90: 608
• Base Substat at Level 90: 49,6% ATK%

Depending on subtleties, the Memory of Dust passive can increase the shield's durability by 20%/25%/30%/35%/40%. When characters hit opponents, it increases their ATK by 4% / 5% / 6% / 7% / 8% for the next 8 seconds and can be stacked up to five times. ATK boost can trigger every 0,3 seconds. If the character is protected by a shield, then the effect of the ATK increase is doubled.

Best Characters for Catalyst Memory of Dust in Genshin Impact

Based on the passive, Memory of Dust can increase the effect of ATK by 100% if the characters are protected by a shield. This means that as long as the character can be inside the created shield, the passive will be activated. This makes Memory of Dust a very niche weapon that specifically relies on the available side to increase the wielder's damage.

Currently there is only one character, Ning Guang, who can single-handedly use Memory Dust without the aid of shields. She is the character of Geo and creates her own shield with crystallized reactions. This helps her use 100% weapon pass without any shield in Genshin Impact.

There are other characters that fit Memory of Dust:

• Klee (DPS)
• Yan Fei (DPS)
• Lisa (Off-field DPS)
• Mona (Nuke)

Of course, these four characters will need a shield, such as Dione, Zhong Li, Toma, and others, to provide a shield that will fully utilize Dust Memory. C4 Yanfei can create her own shield after casting her elemental blast, making her the second most suitable character after Ning Guang for the Memory of Dust catalyst in Genshin Impact.

Therefore, any damage dealer and catalyst user can use Dust Memory to its full potential as long as there is a party member who provides a shield for active characters.
