Valorant Patch 1.11 Delayed: Riot Announces New Release Date
Riot Games is pulling back Valorant's 1.11 patch after the latest update's 'tech nightmare' brought with it a few more issues than it was supposed to fix.
This is also a pretty big update. After the release of the new map and the promotion of the last Agent, Sky, this patch was eagerly awaited. Unfortunately, not everything turned out the way the studio wanted, which led to an important decision that affects all players.
“In 30 minutes we will rollback the patch for North America, Brazil and LATAM. We are also delaying all other regions until we get a fix,” the company said.
While they didn't give a specific date, Riot said they expect the 1.11 re-release window to arrive "later this week."
Real talk: 1.11 has been a technical nightmare.

In 30 minutes, we'll be rolling back the patch for North America, Brazil, and LATAM (one at a time). We're also delaying all other regions until we get a fix. We know we've said this every patch, but thanks for sticking by. [1/2]
It should be noted that Valorant First Strike x NSG qualifiers и patch 1.11 were on the collision course until the update was rolled back.
There were a lot of people, both professionals and ordinary people, who noticed problems with the last sentence almost immediately after downloading it.
Valorant 1.11 bugs
While there were still old bugs like Viper's ultimate or Brim's smokes incorrectly reducing vision from the inside, new - and slightly disturbing - bugs have also been introduced to the game.
One of the biggest offenders was a glitch that would randomly display Sage's character resources on screen while navigating smoke, such as in Omen's Dark Cover.
This is a “blink and you miss” type of mistake. But it can be quite distracting when it appears and then reappears many times as you bounce off the smoke.
There were other glaring issues, such as more stuttering when getting shot in the head or if an enemy appears on the screen, but the developers should be aware.
Due to the delay, the updated 1.11 patch should be released at the end of the month, October 31st, if the Valorant developers find and fix anything that needs to be addressed in time.
