Reddit overwatch has been buzzing for a while now with an alleged leak of a new character for Overwatch 2. It's about the fox character jq, who is supposed to act as a prop. Blizzard, however, denied the rumors about this, pointing out that this leak is a simple scam. So you can return home.
What was the basis of the whole "leak". According to the information that the next character in the game will simply be the fox heroine, and all because a fox could be seen on one trailer. Based on this, someone created their own character and tried to adapt it to the realities of Overwatch 2. So, we have a lady with a futuristic shuriken and a fox companion. She could run up walls, load up shuriken to deal more damage, and heal allies in the area ahead.
Her other abilities were not exaggerated and did not cause much doubt, but the ultimates seemed too out of touch with reality. And literally, because thanks to him, the fox heroine had to summon a nine-legged fox, which, like the dragon Hanzo, had to fly across the map. Enemies hit were supposed to be sent to another dimension, where they were slowed down and unable to do anything for the duration of the skill.
As I mentioned at the beginning, Blizzard decided to react and confirm that this "leak" is not real. Overwatch 2 will receive another character, but it is not known who and what it will be. Maybe she really will be associated with the blue fox, and also get a shuriken, but she definitely won’t have such skills. So you can sleep peacefully!
