Zenless Zone Zero characters - robots, bears and maids

The thrilling adventure game Hoyoverse is teeming with intriguing personalities. Let's take a look at the characters and factions of Zenless Zone Zero.

Welcome to New Eris and the exciting world of Zenless Zone Zero. Immerse yourself in the history of the last metropolis where you can take on orders, explore the voids with your squad, and fight through shifting labyrinths as you search for the truth in pursuit of hope, uncovering a conspiracy along the way.

There are also many factions to discover along the way, each populated with many intriguing Zenless Zone Zero characters, each looking just as stunning as the last. While we may not know much about ZZZ characters at this point, Hoyoverse has fed us crumbs of information through social media, official site and new trailers, as well as showcasing some exciting new footage in special program TGS Hoyoverse. So let's take a look at everything we know about these powerful champions so far.

We will update this guide whenever Hoyoverse releases new information, so stay tuned.

So, without further ado, let's take a look at all the Zenless Zone Zero characters we've seen so far.

ZZZ Proxy

"Behind the seemingly peaceful streets, proxies operate in a distorted reality."

While information about Zenless Zone Zero is still scarce, looking at both the official website and trailer, we see that a group called The Proxies plays an extremely important role in New Eridu. And, as Hoyoverse invites you to "live dual identities, two opposite personalities," we believe that you, the player, will take on the role of a proxy in this exciting new world.

First, what does proxy mean? Well, outside of ZZZ, a proxy is a person with the authority to represent someone else and is usually the term used in voting. Thus, we think that proxies are people in the "real world" who manage or control characters in a distorted reality.

This leads us to believe that the young man and woman shown in the ZZZ trailer are confidants, and that they are somewhat similar to the Traveler in Genshin Impact. So, if we're on the right track, you'll probably get the option to choose either a male or female character and then take control of other ZZZ characters from different factions in a warped reality.

If that's the case, we're still not sure if all Zenless Zone Zero characters are considered "proxy" or if it's just the player's main character. We are also not sure if the player protagonist has his own skills and abilities, or if you will rely solely on the combat skills of people from different factions. Will have to wait and see!

ZZZ Gentle House

Gentle House, aka Cunning Hares, is the faction that gets the most screen time in the ZZZ trailer, and is one of the few whose logo and name are fully visible. Described as Odd-Job Agency, the emblem for Gentle House features a grinning pink rabbit surrounded by stars. Here's what we know about the Gentle House members so far.

• Enbi Dimera – Enbi's age and past remain a mystery. She was accidentally adopted by Nicole and eventually joined the Gentle House, slowly growing into a strong and trustworthy companion. She is known for her advanced combat abilities and has a deep love for films, but is also seen as the group's co-dependent "chick".
• Nicole or NosTradamus - a tall, pink-haired woman with golden eyes and white and black clothes. Little is known about Nicole other than that she was the one who brought Enbi under her wing. Because of this and her position in the foreground during the trailer, she seems to have a high position in Gentle House. She carries a briefcase that turns into a weapon during combat.
• Billy Billy is a mysterious robot in a human disguise. He wears red clothes, a black faceplate with glowing, golden eyes, and spiky white hair. Billy wields dual pistols and has a sharp eye for shooting.
• Unknown cat girl - The ZZZ trailer also shows a cat girl in Gentle House who wears black and red clothes and has black and white cat ears and a tail. Although we don't know much about this sketchy little girl, she seems to fulfill the role of an outcast as she moves at great speeds, attacking her enemies with a flurry of blades.
• "Manager" - At the end of the battle between Gentle Home and Hollow in the ZZZ trailer, you can see a small, round, rabbit-like character wearing a bandana. Billy picks up this soft rabbit and manipulates it, asking, "Manager, which way should we run?" We're not sure if this bunbun actually has any power, or if it's some kind of avatar or channel - perhaps for a player proxy?

B.Industries

While the full name of B. Industries is hidden in the trailer, we can see that the emblem is a roaring bear wearing a hard hat. This is due to the industrial theme shown in the members' attire, who are all dressed in white jumpsuits with discreet ribbon accents and wield weapons that look like tools such as drills. All this leads us to believe that B. Industries can be involved in the construction when they are not beating the villains. In the trailer, we see three characters associated with B. Industries.

• A tall man with cool red-and-black spiky hair, a wary ribbon-style headband, and a jacket draped over his shoulders. He wields a drill mounted on his arm.
• A short, red-haired woman, described as "small but sweet". This fiery lady wields what appears to be a hybrid hammer and drill.
• A huge, hulking bear with a scarred eye, a gold chain and sharp fangs, wielding a large piece of metal that seems to be something between a construction hammer and a minigun or rocket launcher.

Victoria Housewife

This group consists of the two characters in the ZZZ trailer, dressed in costumes that make them look like a traditional, Victorian butler and maid.

• The main character of Victoria House Keeping we see is a girl with green hair in buns who is accompanied by the word "sentimental" which falls into place when she looks visibly upset and cries before attacking with a powerful weapon that looks like a polearm with a whirring saw or round blade at the end. True to her faction's name, she wears a classic black and white maid dress, accompanied by wrist shackles, chains around her waist, and a cute teddy bear backpack.
• Another character from this faction does not appear in the fight scene, but is featured in the introduction of Victoria House Keeping. He's some kind of animal-human hybrid, potentially a fox or wolf, with white fur and a butler outfit, complete with golden brass knuckles and some kind of mask.

They and samurai kitsune

The final faction also appears to be two characters, but we can't see any form of the name, and even the emblem is hidden. Here's what we can gather from the trailer.

• The first character in this faction is an oni-like character, with blue skin, white hair, horns, and ears. They wear a mask that reminds us about Xiao from Genshin Impact, and wield what appears to be some sort of shovel, banner, or fan on top of a pole.
• The other was named Unagi and appears as a kitsune girl character with large black fox ears. She has glowing red eyes and wears a dark blue kimono while wielding a huge, glowing katana.

Other Zenless Zone Zero characters

Naturally, the trailer mainly focuses on these monster-slaying fighters. However, a number of other characters make brief appearances throughout. There are a bunch of cute, squishy, ​​bunny-like critters that look like what Billy calls "the manager" jumping all over the place.

There is also a navy-skinned robot woman with green hair and an elegant dress, and a red-faced man with robotic arms who runs a ramen stand. All of these characters build a bigger picture of this exciting latest metropolis, and we personally can't wait to explore it.
