First Tests: Radeon RX 6800 XT Beats NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Somewhere

AMD has lifted the ban on publishing reviews for their new RX cards and we have the first information.
It looks like the "red team" again presented a very good product. Judging by recent tests, the new cards in some games can even outperform the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090.
Although the 6800 XT is slightly inferior to the RTX 3080 in most scenarios, there are exceptions. This is, for example, Assassin's Creed Valhalla. However, this result is not surprising - "Valhalla" is adapted for "red" GPUs.
In other games, the 6800 XT excels at 1080p. When it rises to 1440p or 4K, the greens take the lead.
The AMD Radeon RX 6800XT is reported to be faster than the RTX 3080 in Battlefield 5 at 1440p. But in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Watch Dogs Legion and Red Dead Redemption 2 at 4K ahead of the RTX 3080.
A similar situation is observed when ray tracing is enabled. In Dirt 5, the RX 6800XT is faster. But in Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Metro Exodus, the “red” flagship works at the RTX2080 Ti level. Also, while AMD does not have its own
version of DLSS anti-aliasing technology, although it is promised.
However, in general, the results are quite good. It is possible that the cards can be accelerated by optimizing the drivers.
