Fortnite Season 2 First Teaser Revealed Worldwide With Secret Message
Epic Games is ramping up for the next Fortnite Season XNUMX, using public ads to tease fans with a mysterious message.
Chapter 2 Season 2 is set to begin on Thursday, February 20 after Dutch , making the first season the longest in the entire two-year history of the Fortnite Battle Royale.
So far, little is known about what players can expect, but as a rule, new seasons come when the most drastic changes occur. There's a new announcement popping up in cities around the world containing a secret message, and it appears to be our first clue.
New Fortnite Teaser
These ads have been seen in various locations around the world, including Brazil, Japan, and France, and are playing a short animation.
The gold logo is visible on top of the Fortnite lettering, with gold bars obscuring the text at the bottom. However, the phone number remains visible. Of course, the fans instantly decided to call the number that started to get interesting.
This poster from Shibuya in Tokyo explains: “There is a poster posted in Shibuya City and there is 15 seconds of footage of the Fortnite logo. And no sound. Just branding?

Secret message in Fortnite Season 2 teaser
When a number is dialed, a kind of message is played. The answer to the other is:
"Yes, sir.
Agents have been called.
Card for access to the purchased safe. "
In the past few hours, several teasers for Season 2 have been found worldwide! Some of them even have a phone number attached. 🔥

A voice will tell you this when you call it:

So what does it all mean? There is speculation that the second season's theme will have something to do with gold and possibly King Midas of Greek mythology (who turns things into gold by touching them).
The gold bars and gold handprint in the teaser could be another clue to this. It is possible that gold will be the fourth material added to Fortnite (adding to wood, metal and brick) and will be indestructible. Obviously, players have some concerns about the implications of this for gameplay.
Epic Games changed their Twitter title to a golden handprint and now their profile photo is also in gold. With Season XNUMX starting, presumably in just a few days, we're sure to learn a lot more.
In fact, the original teaser for the new season covered the text in gold bars, but now it's possible we should have taken that literally as gold bars arrive in Fortnite.
This is just the first teaser for Season XNUMX and there will likely be more. Last time, Epic Games did something extravagant to launch a new season. The real Durr Burger ended up in the middle of nowhere as the community tried to work it all out.
