First Look at the New Fortnite Practice Map
Fortnite insiders got their first look at the brand new non-combat map for the upcoming Party Royale playlist since the April 29th update.
After Epic Games announced that they will be introducing new modes for Fortnite after updates v12.50 , such as Party Royale and Operation: Payload, fans were eager to get to know the new playlists.
It turned out that Party Royale would allow players to take a break from chasing the coveted "Victory Royale" inscription on a non-combat (training) map specially designed for the new mode.
Our source Hypex revealed that, among many other upcoming changes, the Party Royale playlist will go live on Friday for Epic Games to run some tests on the new mode.
Hypex also revealed that Epic will be considering the Party Royale mode as a "new experimental and evolving space", suggesting it could be around for quite some time, unlike many of the previous modes added to Fortnite.
Epic shared that Party Royale will be a non-combat island with plans to instruct players to "leave weapons and armor behind", allowing them to hang out with friends, practice their skydiving skills, and more.

While it's unclear what exactly awaits players when they log into the game, Fortnite leaker FortTory has shared an image of the Party Royale Island map giving more clues as to what to expect.
One of the most striking aspects of the mini-map are the small icons scattered throughout the island. Many fans believe that these are mini-games that players can take part in.
The icons suggest that fans may be able to take part in some unique courses and games such as races, plan competitions, and even a soccer game after you get in line for a new playlist.
Party Royale isn't the only new playlist Epic plans to release, as Operation: Payload (Similar to Overwatch gameplay), will also be coming to Fortnite soon.
