Pioner - STALKER Style Shooter with New Trailer
The online shooter Pioner, inspired by the STALKER series from GFA Games, received a new trailer at E3 2021. Among other mutants, we saw a mysterious levitating girl.
Fans of the STALKER series have a reason to rejoice - they saw not only two Xbox Games Showcase and Bethesda, but also a new game trailer inspired by this Pioner series. You can watch it below.
The game was officially announced over a month ago, and over the past few days we've learned more about its combat system. Now we could take a closer look at the gameplay. This one might not be too innovative, but interesting enough to keep GFA Games products in mind. Especially since the fictional campaign of the Pioneer seems to be more than just an excuse to kill mutants of different species and survivors.
Particular attention is paid to the levitating girl - probably an anomaly - who appears at the beginning of the frame. It can be expected that there will be more such "quirks". The developers say that a single player game is possible, but they offer to play Pioneer in a cooperative mode. Raids and base defense will also appear in the game. In each of them we will use a varied arsenal of melee and ranged weapons, as well as gadgets such as special watches, PDAs and dosimeters.
The game's open world will incorporate sci-fi elements, including those inspired by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky's Edge of the Road Picnic, as well as meticulous Soviet retro styling. Pioneer is due to debut on PC sometime in 2021 and 2022. In the fall, beta testing of the game will take place.
