Roblox Wisteria 2 closed due to bugs and data issues
The developers of the popular game Roblox Wisteria 2 have temporarily closed it due to data issues, bugs and crashes that prevent players from enjoying the game. Despite a successful start to the game, which has become a fan favorite for Demon Slayer, initial technical issues resulted in the game being forced to stop. After reopening the game, it became clear that the problems were deeper than previously thought.
On May 2, 2023, the Wisteria 2 team posted a message on their Discord server announcing the temporary closure of the game until the current issues are resolved. Players have experienced software lock issues, data errors, and lost their money due to unstable game passes and developer-released products. In addition, the game also suffers from lags and crashes that seriously affect the quality of the gameplay.
Hello dear Wisteria 2 players! We, the developers, would like to thank you for playing our game. Recently, we have been actively discussing the future of the game and have come to the conclusion that its current state is too chaotic.
We have noticed that many players are experiencing bans, data errors and losing their money due to unstable game passes and developer products. Overall, the game looks like a big lagging and buggy mess.
In this regard, we have decided to close the game for a while in order to completely rework it. We promise that the rework will be significant and lead to an improvement in the quality of the game. We thank everyone who supported our release and we are sorry to have released a broken game.
Team Wisteria 2.
In addition, the developers denied allegations of making illegal profits in the following statement:
“Some people say that we just took advantage of the fact that we received money from the players without corresponding results. But it's not. The code for the game was so bad that it was wrong to open access to buy items when people couldn't get them. We create the game from scratch and try to avoid such situations. We do this for the benefit of our community.
Clan players are looking forward to the resumption of the game, although the duration of the shutdown remains uncertain. They hope it won't take as long as the hiatus of another popular game, Pixel Piece, which ran into similar problems and was shut down for several months. At the same time, the gaming community hopes that the developers of Wisteria 2 will be able to resolve the issues and quickly return the game to a working state.
